I'm looking for work: Adv Rigger, TA, Labourer

    Howdy,

I'm getting properly desperate for a job now. I stayed with the last job til end of contract, then did some extra courses for certs and have been applying for whatever I essentially fit the bill for.

I'm looking for work along the lines of trade assistant, advanced rigger, basic scaffolding, general labourer.

I have applied for quite a few roles, but have either been told their personnel quota is full, or they'll call me back, but time and money is running thin.

    Certs that I have:
    - Advanced Rigging
    - Basic Scaffolding
    - White Card
    - Confined Space Entry/Gas Testing
    - Working at Heights
    - HR Drivers Licence
    - BOSIET

If anyone has any contacts they know that have work or whatever the case may be, could you help me out?

    Regards,
    Jacob.

Hit up UGL? I hear they may be taking on people next year pretend offshore. Not many but TA's could be in the mix.

Thanks, I'll have a look at UGL, but was hoping for something a little more immediate in the meantime.

That they are. I've gotten onto the Programmed Industrial Maintenance list, but the shutdowns they have at the moment have reached their personnel quota. Communication with them is something I'm staying on top of until I can get my first gig with them.

Most recent pump work I've been exposed to was servicing/rebuilding the mud pumps on the land oil and gas drill rig. They're not the most high tech bits of kit, but there's a right way to go about putting everything back together, and inspecting the work.
The best rotating equipment experience I've had was rebuilding my last engine (SR20DET).

I'm not bluntest tool in the shed, so given the opportunity to learn and progress, I don't take it for granted.

That would be very much appreciated. It seems a nobody without a memoir of experience makes it difficult to get any sort of jump start without pissing the people off who are trying to get you employment.

Good stuff. We have a bloody nice workshop in Wangara and a great team of people that are accountable and take pride in their work. Send me a PM and I'll work it from there. Company is Pumpnseal Australia if you want to do some research
