Thread: [28 Mar] Antilag Supercruise #6 - Collie Motorplex ONLY $135!!

  1. #1

[28 Mar] Antilag Supercruise #6 - Collie Motorplex ONLY $135!!

    Next Supercruise announced

As far as I'm aware, it's still the only event in WA where you can take your friends out in your car for hot-laps around a track!

Also, timing these days isn't much of an issue due to things like Harry's Lap Timer and the Racelogic boxes, so if you want to do times you can easily record them yourself.

Highlights from the cruise session of Supercruise 4:

Thankfully we've been able to significantly reduce costs for the next 4 Supercruises, so the entry fees have dropped to only $135 per driver!!

The event will be as follows:

    Location: Collie Motorplex
    Date: Saturday, 28th March 2015.
Format: Untimed Laps and Cruise Sessions
Requirements: Valid Drivers Licence, Fire Extinguisher, Helmet, Long shirt and pants, Enclosed shoes.
    Price: $135

    Event Schedule:
8am - Scrutineering and Sign on
    9am - Fast Laps (6 cars at a time)
Midday - Lunch Break, burnout pit open to anyone who wants to do burnouts.
    ************************************************** ****
    LUNCH INFORMATION
Unfortunately the lovely ladies in the canteen will not be available.
We will be organising a Sausage Sizzle
    $3.50 for a sausage sizzle
$2.00 for a can of soft drink
    $5.00 for a sausage sizzle & drink
    ************************************************** ****
1pm - Cruise Session (Open to all cars)
    2:30pm - Fast Laps
    4:30pm - End.

    Fast Laps:
These will be run with the following format - 1 out lap, 3 flying laps, 1 in lap. 6 cars out at a time.
We recommend installing a timing app on your smartphone (Harry's Lap Timer works well down there)

    Cruise Sessions:
We will have ~15 cars out at a time. You will be permitted to do the following:
    Roll-on Drag Race
    Powerskids
    Rolling Burnouts

You will not be allowed to do a standing-still burnout (if we see you on the brake and stationary, you will be kicked out immediately), nor will you be allowed to drift at any stage. This is not negotiable.

To enter, simply transfer $135 into the account below and use your username as the referral with "SC6" as the preface. For example, mine would be "SC6-Brockas".
    Bank - National Australia Bank
    Account Name - Antilag
    BSB - 086138
    Account # - 828096583

If you are not an ALM member you MUST PM your full name and contact details (Phone / E-mail / Address) to me.

Passengers: Up to 1 passenger per car is permitted. Passenger wristbands can be purchased on the day for $30. Please bring correct change as change will not be available on the day. Passengers must wear the same safety equipment as the driver (helmet and long sleeves / pants).

    Food: TBA

It's a cheap day for a lot of fun! Just ask anyone who's been to the last five

Got new rear rims ordered from Koya - if they turn up, I will bring the Monaro up, otherwise I might give the ute a run

Just gotta check the diary, and with the war office

    Fellas,

Got a possible HSV driver going to this.

What pads do you guys run (actual driven/own as opposed to I heard these are delux) or recommend on a blown late model VE?

Is there a minimum number required for this to go ahead Paul?

Keen to go for a run down at Collie, just need to sort out a set of extinguishers.

No, but we need entrants to keep booking future events.

Everyone needs to get their entries in as quickly as possible

We have quite a few already. I will update the first post later this week once I check the account.
