Helped save quite a few houses, Liz from here was heaps close, and a house I was house sititng came close to it all as well.
This is the old Golf Club I used to work at where he was getting the water from

The 2nd photo here is of the fire that jumped the F3 and railway line and was on Pacific Highway - just a few lanes from houses.
Got real close.

Oh, and that 2nd one also - I didn't relise there were two hotties there, they gave me a big dirty look as they thought I took a photo of then!

Yeah it was pretty nasty for a while there hey chris.

but it kinda happens every year to some extent, some years worse than others. This is definately not as bad as the last few years fires (one year we had the fire come up the creek running through our garden AND it was threatening to jump across the road where our house was).


But the traffic this year and road closures have been the worst I've seen!!!! People EVERYWHERE!!!
Anyone else getting used to it? lol
