    Wheel refurbishment/rash repair.

    Hey guys,

Looking at getting some light rash on the panasports repaired and the barrels polished etc.

Any recommendations anyone has used with good results.

So far have only been put onto alliance, any others I should consider?

    Cheers.

Go see Mick at Briffa Engineering in Malaga, would highly recommend his work and Alliance usually send him some wheels of their work and add their price ontop of Micks.

Post up prices when you get the work done, I've got some wheels that need some attention

    Thought I'd add my results
I had an egged rim, it balanced up and was good enough to run on the rear but I wanted to get it sorted out
Took it to briffa who was close to home and came with quite a few recommendations
Picked up next day all sorted I think it was $110 inc remove and refit the tyre
Have run the rim on the front and zero problems, smooth as silk
Couple of marks on the inside of the rim from where he's tooled it but i'll just get it sorted when I paint the rims. They are scuffed anyway.
    I'd recommend him

Apparently there is someone around the bentley \ belmont area who is supposed to be cheap and good.

Also need to sort some gutter rash on rims.

Fair to say I'm fairly impressed with briffa, they did an unreal job on the panasports

bought some rims via this forum and unfortunately seller didn't disclose to me that one rim has an ever so slight buckle/wobble in it

something like that can be taken out do you think?

Shouldn't be a problem, one of mine was ovalled, briffa fixed it so well it ended up being the best balanced of all the rims.

My mate had a similar issue, Briffa fixed it as the guy prior made a dodgy repair and filled half the rim with weights to fix it

Do Briffa do just polishing? CBF paying Alliance crack prices to polish rims again...

Had a good experience with Briffa, dropped buckled rim to him last week and was ready for pickup yesterday.

    A++ would use again.
