    Coil over rebuilding

Ive imported a fair few coil overs and the odd set have needed a rebuild, unfortunately all attempts in WA to get a decent rebuild have failed (Hoping this changes sometime(

I just sent and recieved back 3 pairs over to TSR in Queensland needing attention.

For straight leaking resealing/oiling they charged $137.50 a corner, unluckily for me 2 of my pairs required re shafting as the shaft was fairly well chopped by crap riding up and down the shaft....... $295 a corner

Mahomed Is easily contactable and very helpfull always replying to calls and E-mail,

    Thanks for the link!
By any chance do you need to tell him what spring rate the coilies have so he can valve them appropriately?

I suppose it also depends on what your rebuilding.

If you forked out for top dollar DMS shocks for, say, a WRX....there are about 3 places locally who can rebuild them not a problem.

TSR just custom made some inserts for old skyline, they seem to have it together

WA Suspension in Osb Pk. does Tein and JIC

if just resealing and regas they can do it for 140 bucks per corner

if chipped in shaft they usually send it over to sydney to get it fixed, quoted $235 per corner.

Recommend TSR to anyone, Mohamed is a top bloke.

My coilovers were farked and he completely rebuilt them from the ground up for bugger-all money.

I'm really surprised that it is so hard to find workshops to rebuild coil overs in WA. I'd have though the likes of Wilkinson would do this regularly
