Anyone work for Nissan and/or can get parts cheap?
Wife has a T31 X-Trail diesel and the past six weeks the DPF has been giving us the shits... for what ever reason, regen is not occurring enough and causing performance issues etc.
Wondering what the process is to do manual burn, and what price is to replace DPF if I determine that it is at the point of no return.
Don't go to Nissan. They will REAM YOU! $4k for a new DPF.. There are companies that clean them, but it's only a temp fix. Removal is best - obviously - and there are a few options.
Talk to Nathan at Autofix Mechanical Repairs. That's in Kelmscott but his team have a SHIT TONNE of Nissan diesel experience and will sort you without some stupidly expensive bill.
