Its interesting you found something to fit a Magna. I cannot really see there being a high demand for sequential gearsets for the magna platform haha. This would have to be the only one ever right? Or is it a compatible part to other models? Does the magna share mounting pattern etc other mitsobishis?

Remember this car from hyperdrive also and helped load it the night you picked it up. Alot of time and money gone into this, but it's good to see something different.

As for the fast time you're making decent power so it's down to setup, weight and driver now.

P.s always room for more power but

I was thinking about it, only problem the pits in it make it easy for oil and dirty to stick to it, so i just cleaned the bell housing up, heated it, and then painted it in silver heat temp paint

You are on the money, the Mitsubishi evo 7-9 use a W5M51 the Magna' TE-TW or 96-03 use the F5M51, the gearbox housing and internals are the same, the difference is the bell housing and crown gear, and of course diffs and diff bearings, but the only reason I know this is because I'm the first person to do it..

Getting there, well the road is long and painfull in away, i keep getting so far and then i find a new to change some thing or just get a custom part made, so it might look together but dont be fooled, there is stiull alot to do, i sent parts of to the Netherlands so i can get Drenth to make me a custom Crown gear to fit my front wheel Drive diff, remember theis gear box is for a evo

So becauce im going Manual or as i've learnt aussies call the MAN pedal, i got my hands on a full manual magna, which is where i'm getting all the goodies from

this is where reverse gear slides in, which is also straight cut, every gear is..

Also a never done thing to a magna, a pull to push convertion from norris designs uk

its coming a long slowly, i'm at a stand still at the moment, as i'm waiting for parts

    Thumbs up

Been a long time and no update, and that is because I've been waiting on parts to be made, Finally i now have enough stuff to do 90% on the install.

    NPC performance clutches from Queenland
Have made this awesome one off custom flywheel for me, light weight compare to standard and just a awesome bit of kit

    Norris Design from the UK,
have supplied me with there Evo 8-9 Quad plate clutch kit, that had to get cut down by NPC to a triple to fit ( Quad plate just wouldnt fix ) the custom flywheel and a norris design push convertion kit.
and more in the mix to make it all work

Was it a custom dimension flywheel or just a replica, but lighter?

Flywheel and Triple plate all together and install,
NPC clutch performance in Australia really came through, and have another flywheel ready to go if anyone is keen

For some reason the rear main seal is different from a auto-trans and manual
Any way the Gearbox is in,taken over 12months to get this 5speed senquential dogbox hooked up to the 6g7 engine. been abit of guess work seems i'm the first to do this, but i'm finally getting to the end

A fwd in the 300club might upset some people.
I donít see it begining to much of a stretch. Would need to upgrade some stuff.
more grip would be number 1 on the list, which Iím working on atm.
maybe a compound turbo set up or bigger turbo and nitrous, To get the power in the 800hp range and a higher rev range So I have a higher top speed.

Could be a New goal to go after.. I do enjoy the event, I was more thinking a 10 second quarter mile as a new goal
