    Online Store Now Open!!!

Volatile Car Audio is going Digital!!!

Our new web store has officially launched and we are ready to do deals.

We are offering everything you would find in our Malaga store, at online deal pricing.

And as we have been for almost 10 years now, we have Antilag.com forum members sorted out...

We are offering minimum 10% discount off the RRP of anything in store, as well as free delivery within the perth metro area (Mindarie{N} to Mandurah{S} to Mundaring{E}) with all orders over $250.

To redeem your personal discount code, please PM me and I will send you a discount code for use on the website.

I am still adding more & more products every day, but if you are looking for a specific brand or model and don't see it within the online store, send me a message and I can track it down for you.

And don't forget to register your details to receive the latest product reviews, offers & discounts.

    Cheers All!

LOL... nice work. I am still here at the shop installing another one... that's three installed today, plus yours... This is a seriously awesome deck. I can't wait to fit one in my car.

    Enjoy!

yup agreed .. housemate and i were questioning if there was another deck option on the market with similar functionalitity and we estimated circa 2k minimum for a quality alternative.

digital radio + android auto/crapple car play = so much win

SQ is up and that's without a proper tune which we will attempt on the weekend with an oscilloscope

    happy is an understatement!

I can vouch for Rob personally, having known him for several years. One of the most genuine people you'll come across in the automotive industry.

Make sure all you Antilag people support a local business and a fantastic dude!

Highly recommend the guy to any of you if you want anything done.

    Hello Rob

I have a ve ss series 1 and every time I drive it the stereo frustrates the fuck out of me.
It's only the Mrs daily so just something simple with Bluetooth music streaming, I don't need sat nav or stuff like that and I don't mind fitting it myself.
Is there anything I can do to install a DVD player/double din deck without taking out a second mortgage.
Would prefer a 7 inch screen if possible.

Also what alarms and gps trackers do you recommend?

    Hey Mate,

Yeah, the VE1 stereo is pretty average.

A popular upgrade that I do on them is the JVC KWV320BT 6.8" DVD System, with a full replacement facia kit & steering wheel interface.

    https://ultimate-car-audio.myshopify...h-dvd-receiver

This will give you Bluetooth Hands-Free, Bluetooth Audio Streaming, DVD, CD & USB Playback, with full control via your steering wheel audio buttons.

These units are now using the same type of LCD screen as iPhone & Android Devices, which give them a great touch response & improved anti-glare properties.

I can do these for $990 Supplied & Fitted. Installation takes roughly 2 hours.

As for Alarms & GPS Tracking, there are a ton of different options available on the market right now.

I still prefer the Autowatch Alarm systems as they have proven to be super reliable over the years. They start from $399 supplied & fitted for the VE Commodores and use the existing Key FOB to control the alarm (lock/unlock = arm/disarm)

There are cheap GPS Trackers starting from $50 at Jaycar, but I have had quite a few issues with these lasting more than a few months in vehicles. These days I use the QuikTrack systems which are locally supported in case of any issues.

These go for $450 Supplied & Fitted and have monthly monitoring options starting from $19/month.

These also include there own GSM Sim card and I can wire them into the Alarm system so that you receive a notification if there is an event triggered on your car (broken window, unauthorised entry, flat battery etc)

Will be spending a portion of my tax return on a Kenwood DDX9016, been waiting for them to drop for a while but don't have the funds currently.

    Didn't realise you did radios.

I'll come in a few weeks and grab a CB unit and 2 antennas. One around 6db and the other around 2-3. Can you get online price if you buy in store?

    Hey Mate,

The facia includes the replacement air con controls.

I use the Overline VE facia kit which has proven to be the most reliable of the facias available.

I don't use their steering wheel interface as I have had a few issues previously, instead I use the Axxcess ASWC-1 which is bulletproof when it comes to steering wheel interfaces.

    Hey Mate,

Not a problem, when you are ready let me know and I can work out some pricing for you.

The facia kit usually takes a week to arrive once ordered. Once I have it in stock, we can organise a time/date that suits you... I like to wait until the facia is in stock before booking the car in as the supplier only uses Aust post and sometimes the packages go missing for a day or two.

    Hi Rob!

Thanks for sorting out the sub for us on Saturday! Am happy with the purchase!
But I need to bring it back to you to get the air leak from the box sorted...
When would be a good time to drop off to you?

    Cheers Ken

    Hey Mate,

    No probs at all.

Drop the box off anytime over the next few days and I will sort it out.

I'll make up a nice fitting panel to cover over the old sub hole and flush in the new sub.

    Rob
