    New mid engine Corvette is going to be for sale in the US from $60k US.
    Holden plans to sell here in Aus from $150 - $200k.

    It'd be good to know the breakdown of costs and how many cars they think they'll be ordering, If they sell it at 150k

    US car cost: approx $85,000 AUD
    Luxury Car tax: $27,216.75 AUD ((150,000-67,525) x 0.33)

    That leaves about 37k per car to cover RHD build costs, shipping, import taxes, aussie marketing, crash testing and ADR compliance etc.

    I wonder what the wholesale price would be to Australia Dealerships etc.

    build costs should be the same rhd or lhd. also we exported fucking gto's, g8's and Chev SS cheaper then you could buy the pingpingpingpings here.

    so you can't tell me they can do the same in return, remember 60k is RRP not actual build cost. anything over 110k aud and they are price gauging.
