Honestly don't think there is one thing you've done on this car I don't love.

Got some more work done yesterday.
Got my last two hoses for the oil cooler sorted, so that's now all done.
Also fitted some knock sensors off a Falcon.

Sparky was there finishing off the last bits and pieces, we fitted the ECU and and powered up the dash etc.

Not long now before we can turn the key, just need a set of leads and some coolant and we should be good to go I hope.

Once it is running and we know there aren't any issues with the harness it'll come out again and get braided before final installation.

Well, the car is running, great success, no rods out, no fuel leaks, no electrical fires.

Feels incredibly good hearing it running again after such a long time, and we had relatively small issues getting it running as well, one plug needed to be re-pinned, and my
PWR radiator "which takes a standard radiator cap" leaks around the radiator cap, seems the reach is a tad off.

Very keen to see how it goes once it is finished

Huge thanks to Mitch at WA Performance and Jase for doing the wiring!

Went down to the plex last night for a bit of a test to see how the new combo behaves and to log some runs etc.

Got a new PB for myself and the car, so quite happy with that, looking at my 60' there wasn't much "pro driving" from myself, that's for sure, but happy none the less.

    At 19psi of boost, I managed an 11.38 @ 121mph with a 1.80 60'.

Now time for some more seat time, enjoy RW, and once that is done, can focus on getting some more boost in there so I can get it in the 10's even with my less than ideal 60' times.

    =)

Car looked awesome last night mate and seemed to hook up really well. Should be fun with more boost!

Went out and snapped a few quick photo's.
It has now done about 700kms since build, and seems to be working alright, touch wood =)

The photos are, much like my driving, far from pro. Either way, here are some of them.

Geez, feels like it might be time for a minor update.
    Did RW, broke it again.
Put it in the shed for a few months.
Rebuilt it, bought a house, VL ended up a bit on the back burner.

Box came out, converter was sent away for a service, and I had it tightened up a bit, it now drives a fair bit nicer on the street.
Replaced the rear housing with one size up to a 1.00 and had that coated along with the manifold after an EGT bung was welded on there.

Rob ordered me a trigger kit from Hi Octane to suit an RB26 and R30 top kit from Ross to suit.
I slapped that on and realised it didn't work with my current balancer with the oil pump drive, so ordered a new balancer from ATI.

After that, I removed the dizzy as it was now obsolete, and slapped a core plug in its place to try and tidy it up a bit.

Rob walked me through setting up the new trigger settings in the ECU and we got it fired up, I drained the tank, filled her up with E85 and had it retuned.
We found the limits of a single 044 pump pretty much immediately, on 19 psi it made 420 rwhp.
Took it down to the motorplex and ran an 11.1@123mph.

After that, I drove it for a while, and then decided that the stock diff was getting tired, so I ordered a Torqueline Trutrac centre for it.
Dropped it off to final drive and had them go through the lot whilst it was there.
It now drives even better, feels tighter in the drive train and it paints wicked lines, happy days!

Have also started gathering parts for a bigger fuel system, ordered a surge tank and fuel filter from Nuke Performance in Sweden, will be running twin internal pumps in the surge, and some bigger injectors.

So that brings us up to where we are now, hopefully in the next few coming months, I'll finish off the fuel system and have it retuned again, will be interesting to see what it'll make on ~30psi.

    Yearly update time!

I finished up the fuel system, put some fancy hose and fittings in there along with the two walbro 460 pumps.

Got some ID1300x injectors and installed them as well, along with an LS1 alternator so that I would have enough power to run the pumps and fan.

Got it tuned to 25 psi, made 546rwhp through the auto, so pretty happy with that.

And took it down to the drags tonight where I ended up getting kicked out after my first pass as it went quicker than 11.0.

All in all, pretty happy with it at the moment
