Didn't this start at velvet originally? Come on Joe it's not all about you!

    Keen for a restart!

Haha, no it started at Vastese Bakery on Sat mornings.. then myself and Anthony (ex Velvet Espresso) carried it over to Velvet, due to the City of Vincent oxygen stealers stepping in.

Then I carried it over to Cuppa Joe when I bought that, which was good timing because Velvet's street parking was becoming unusable due to the City of Perth oxygen stealers.

Although someone else does Cars & Coffee officially now, my claim to fame is the "hipster version" of Cars & Coffee... before it was cool :P

That being said, I can kick off Saturday morning Cars & Coffee again if we can find a cafe with a half decent car park. I've got a property on the corner of Fitzgerald & Angove St North Perth which is a disused service station.. we can park 20-25 cars in there not a problem, and there is a dozen cafes within 50m of there.. so we could probably do this on a smaller scale in between the monthly Custom Cars & Coffee. I'll have a think about it after RW is done and dusted, because most people are concentrating on that currently.

Dang.. looks like it needs to be split up like they do in the USA, have different cities/towns/counties running on different weekends.

Bit tougher for us here because Perth is a small place with a lot of cars, but it wouldn't be hard to run a few more frequent ones to split the numbers up a bit.

Find a large carpark, get a permit to run a coffee machine/sales and bring some stuff for food from Vastese?

Any suggestions for locations ? I'd assume people would want somewhere "nice" like Freo rather than say an industrial area ?

There are works afoot for Custom Coffee and Cars. Some deliberation is underway with Fremantle council which I believe will come to fruition once winter is out the way.

However, Saturday Coffee and Cars needs a home still

Why does this sound familiar, like it's actually been discussed.

Every one of those workers is a top person, been going there since it opened. Who cares what they look or act like, food and coffee is spot on.
Saturday morning would never work there, way too busy from 7am any way.

LOL, Even their christian rock in the background doesnt worry me, been nothing but super friendly and usually have my coffee order on the screen when I walk in.
Don't care what they do after hours if they have good service and tasty coffee

Yeah, hence why Joe should crank his portable machine up again

I'm assuming you're referring to Jordan, the owner there.

He is a great guy and buys a tonne of bread from me every week too. Plus the coffee is sensational.

Just to confirm, Tristan was the large driving force behind promoting Cars & Coffee, if you read back through this thread you'll see that. I simply facilitated it
