looks awesome mate, i painted my ic hardpipe kit black wrinkle, painted all my rockercovers & plenum to suit too, looks great with the contrasting silver paintwork, i also have the hard intake pipe kit like yours waiting to get the wrinkle treatment haha one day
Strubaru do you have a photo you can post of that ?
Car is booked in for the e85 / flex tune.
It's been pretty fun to drive thus far, so pretty keen to seen what it's like after.
Ordered some more stuff off RHDJapan, a few OEM bits to replace broken stuff and some dress up bits.
Also decided to push towards OBD, so with the right combination of parts I'll have some great software at my disposal
Also tossing up to run the screen in the center console, or go the whole hog effort like this NSX...
saw that screen. great idea IMO
Jaysus that screen is sexual
That is seriously cool
Yeah it's just software for iOS/android with their obd + advance dongle.
Hoping defii dongle is useable (i.e, not propriety) for other obd apps as I want to use Harry's lap timer also, that has some seriously cool data logging functions for track etc.
With that screen dash you could even watch porn while you drive, Aint got no time for no speedo.
Its chaboi

This will be approved by the big guy.
AiM MXG would do the job EDIT: Saw that you want to use OBD...
Interesting time coming up for race dash manufactures. It wouldn't be too hard for someone to make a app (like defi has) and programming to accept digital and analogue inputs from generic sensors that would have the same look at 1/10th of the cost of something like the MXG
The defi advance unit, which controls normal defi gauges can plug into the defi obd smart meter to add extra metrics.
My plan is to use the Link G4+ OBD output and add any extra sensors to the Link.
e.g. if there is a wideband input to the Link, and a matching OBD metric that can be measured by the app you get this displayed.
Not pro-son, so no AiM screen LOL
Picked up the car this afternoon, flex tune done!
Power feels similar to the recent 98 tune (from my 40min peak hour test drive), but a nice chunk of extra torque has definitely been added with e85.
She's pretty quick and still very happy with the result as the work has transformed the way the car drives
Thanks to the crew at Galvsport! (and ASG for the tune!)
I was hoping to crack the magic 500hp mark (while setup for response & non-copbait idle), but boost is at the limit before headstuds/gasket need to be sorted.
However this gives me a pretty simple upgrade path to follow later in the year which should push me into the mid 500s once the wick is wound up.
In other news my Defi Smart meter arrived (and some other bits), just waiting on OBD/CAN cable to start testing it out!

Some suspension tweaks today, car is driving much nicer and doesn't rub/bash on every bump on the road.
I can definitely drive the car harder than I could before
Guys over at Wheels World did a great job and would recommend to anyone in the future.
In other news, have a few deliveries that should land next week!
ProjectMu HC+ pads for the front end
Momo steering wheel
HKS tow hook
Hopefully after this spending can calm down for a while :/
Doing some last minute prep for RW, ProjectMu HC+ pads dropped in, they pull up bloody well!
Gave the calipers a cleanup, happy with the result
Also dropped in the new steering wheel, feels nice and in combination with the recent suspension changes steering feels A1!
I know a few at Galvsport will be sad to see ol' Nitto special go hahaha
The steering wheel did come with a piece that went around the horn, but I think it looks more era appropriate without it, thoughts?
