Hopefully should be here in the next week

As far as the ignition harness is concerned, there's two kits, one replaces the harness only (with upgraded wiring etc) and one that also has improved earth & battery feed for ignition.
I got the latter one, it's was around $200... around what a new OEM one costs anyway.
Hoping between that and the splitfires I've already got in there will keep ignition happy once I start playing with p100/e85.

I've posted your For Sale thread on a mates wall, with any luck he'll buy it.

Certainly one of the nicer 32R's around mate.

So I got the car back from Galvsport today, to say the car drives very well is an understatement

The guts of the work I asked Josh for was to get the car driving well before looking at power upgrades later in the year.
Wheel bearings, rear diff, tailshaft were all changed up for new items, while the subframe was removed for some restoration...

The Nismo 1.5 way diff was sent off to dalspec to work his magic on the diff, the subframe was dropped for powdercoating and fresh bushes all round.
Now I'd always suspected my subframe was a little bit special needs, but when it was dropped it was best compared to my favourite yellow fruit.. the banana.

So Josh got on the phone and sorted a replacement from Mayhem and so a straight subframe was obtained... some stripping, sandblasting, powdercoating then off to WA Suspensions for rebushing and basic settings got this baby looking brand new.

Now by this time the car had been with Josh a while, and he had noticed a few other little things here and there that could be fixed up.
After a bit of a chat, Josh fixed numerous issues that had bugged me for years that I'd given up all hope on fixing... things like mystery oil leaks, squeeling alternator belt on cold starts, my lazy relocation of the oil filter that "was just flapping in the wind".

While he was at it, he gave the car a service, including changing over the brake fluid to some AP racing stuff... oh my god the pedal feel is 10 times better that it's ever been!
Topped off with a big degrease of all the crap that had build up around the engine bay from the oil leaks, and a wash.
The engine bay now looks much better!

The other main thing was comp test... which came up fairly good, happy considering its a +160K RB26.

So now I know the motor is still healthy, the car drives straight & well, no random vibrations (just the good ones), and it will put the power down nicely.

From here it's time to let my hip pocket recover for a little bit and enjoy driving the car.
Hopefully within the next 6 months I can FINALLY chase down some more power in the 32R.

    tl;dr
Galvsport did an awesome job, and the car now drives beautifully... next up more power!

Had to make room for more 32s haha
    Current plans are: Vipec + -5s + poncams + e85... Hoping for a semi-safe 500hp

I've had the car for a long time now, so if the engine expires when I push it harder, so be it, it's served me well

    Mini update...
Have a track day coming up that requires a fitted fire extinguisher.
Found a few nice but pricey bolt in brackets online, but ran out of time eventually.
Instead I hit up bunnings and for under $20 I got everything I needed and a hotdog + coke haha

Pretty happy with the job, tucks in nicely under the seat and it's nice and sturdy

Figured a bit of an update was in order...

Sent the GTR in to get the Galvsport touch towards the end of 2014, basics are:

Garret -5s twins with all hot side pipe work ceramic coated (ported ex. manifolds, mines dumps & front pipe)
    Tomei Poncam Bs (260/260@9.15mm)
GReddy intake kit, but with K&N pods with custom joining pipework to get it sitting in a good spot.
Vipec plug + flex fuel sensor + ecu controlled boost solenoid
Walbro e85 fuel pump + ASNU 1100cc injectors + Nismo FPR
    Galvsport signature airconditioning restoration!
Misc servicing and replacement of perished OEM hoses & wiring

I've had the car back about 3 weeks now (thanks for opening up over xmas break Josh!) and it drives amazingly... certainly has renewed my love for the car!
Aircon makes immensely more enjoyable to drive on hot days!
With no noticeable loss in response from 34R+dialed in stock cams, but power band pushing well past were the old setup fell over, coming through corners I find I'm in the sweet spot of the powerband.
As I said to Josh after the first proper drive "fuck she's quick!"

Although the 98 tunes is complete, the car still needs to go back in for a day to finish of the flex tune... something that couldn't be avoided due to xmas shutdown without being without the car a further 4-6 weeks.
This also means there is more to come, which greatly excites me!

I'm currently trying to touch up the car where she's got a bit rough over the years, fixing up interior further and cleaning up the engine bay with new bits and cleaning of the decades of grime.

I don't have any new photos or dyno charts at the moment, but as no one likes walls of text, here's another pic from the Galvsport Barbagello Track day.

    She's purty, love the plates.

Mind me asking what it made on 98? and keen to see what you get out of the -5's on e85. Are ASG doing the tuning?

    Yep it's ASG.
Josh said it was around 480hp from memory, if I can get it over the 500hp mark on e85 I'll be happy.

Completely stock motor bar the poncams, 160K old.
Stock head gasket is the limiting factor for not turning up more, running around 20psi

I think you will find it's more the head studs stretching vs the head gasket. Grab a set of ARP2000 and install them in situ if your cams allow

Greddy intake pipe work, thinking about redoing them with black joiners and black coated pipe work.
A relocated PS res to free up some room might be the go down the track.

Flex sensor and some sexy fittings hiding behind oil filter

Planning on doing a boot mounted reservoir, once done I can get both pods nestled low near the bumper feed, but setup works perfect for now.
You can also see the colour difference between panels where I've managed to clear off the 20yrs of grime.

Loving the induction noise of the new turbos and intake setup, stock bovs make a bit of noise now too LOL
Also shows the garage defend air guide I installed a while back.
I'll get a proper catch can eventually!

Replaced the shagged & rock hard rad rubbers for some fresh ones, gave the brackets some fresh paint for good measure.

Cleaned up the engine bay a little more, had a look at the A/C work hiding under the air guide.

Moved the wideband gauge out of the way, but can still see it while driving.

Happy snap of the interior, with the R34 GTR seats I picked up a few months back.
