I'd say you will be happy with matt's wiring loom, he made mine and it all plugged in first go.

Car's coming along nicely man, keep it up

Can only speak for mine, but:
I have all my prices stored on a hard drive somewhere but that was in a computer that died so really I can only guess, from memory mine was around the 250 mark? inc. postage, plus the two original looms obviously

I was pre-warned not to buy shelf items

Anyway finally decided on a converter builder, went with Allfast.

Good bloke, great service so far... rough mash of my engine/box/diff specs i'm looking somewhere around the 3800-4000 mark.

Would be less if i went 3.7's or something but i will be pretty happy with the 4.11's i think

    Opinions please?

Especially if they involved my diff gears, as i still have time to change the order if possible. I have 3.7's in the shed.

Oh... and nows about the right time i ring and annoy John @ SQP

light car with that engine, i think 4.11 are way too much. traction going to be a big issue and first gear will be a waste.
personally i think 3.7s would be perfect at most 3.9

Funnily enough Simon rang back and said the same thing

So yeah now to get a spool for the 3.7 centre and find someone to put it in the housing for me properly.

Mates one in town has a 6spd and 9 inch and weighs 1291kg with full tank of fuel

I'm running a much lighter borg warner and t400, so somewhere around his weight will be about right

Definitely go 3.7's with the TH400 & big converter. Mine sits a tad under 3000rpm @ 100km/hr with this combo, so 4.11's would be un-streetable imo.

Thanks Tom, pretty hard to deal with, car is helping

I am so so tired right now from pretty much 3 solid days and 1000 phone calls

Got the Moroso oil pickup, f body camaro windage tray and Moroso sump on the engine today. Tested up the extractors/mounts/starter then dropped the engine back in for now

Got plenty of help to get it running... few budget killers have arisen namely a speedo sensor kit that needs to get pressed into the box back at DTM on Monday NOR (yay driving!) The joys of doing a retro Torana though i guess

But i wanted to show off the porn radiator (Browns built not some half assed pwr/adc)

    Bit of a dummy fit

Finished up for the day, not entirely lift kitted spec
