    2k Budget - it's a gift so that's the number - can't stretch to 3k just cos.

I am tall with big wrists and arms but also don't want 50mm of bogan flashware.

Not looking for a busy watch - so just dials and numerals are fine.

Longines Legend Diver appeals but costs more than that

^^ TJ see if there is any in any of these sales that tickle your fancy.... I have used touch of modern for quote a few things as they have some amazing offers at times...

    https://www.touchofmodern.com/sales/graham-

edit... you prob will need some type of us post box as not sure if everything ship international... I use US.delivered... rates heaps better than myus.com ....

also check watches.com if you haven't already.

no probs , they have had through touch of modern, but none at the moment.... if not super time-sensitive' you could at least join and get notified of sales anyway...

    good luck with your search

Chrono24 Canada I believe. It is a gift so purchase was handled by the man with the money.

Well ...... The wife jumped the gun and got me what I’ve been wanting for a long time now and decided to mix my two choices up and go the Tag with the metal band over the leather strap, black face with the gold highlights of the Longines

10 Year anniversary instead of my 40th Woop Woop totally stoked and am loving having such a nice time piece finally

    Anyone heard of watchgang.com?

$99 a month, send you a watch a month Guaranteed to be worth more than the subscription cost with the chance to win a Rolex/tag every month.

Seem like some cool watches, but solid marketing strategy

I see their ads pop up frequently.. from what I've read the cheaper plans are shit you can buy cheaper from aliexpress.. the next levels up are the more pedestrian stuff from the companies which you can most likely find for similar prices via other avenues. I can see the appeal for some but isn't for me.

Buy an SKX, then put 99 a month aside towards something you like the look of and continue to like the look of. Realise SKX can be spiced up with a bezel, bezel insert, and new bracelet. Enjoy SKX whilst still saving. Mod 2 or 3 more times and realise you have have 6-8k set aside for a watch you don't need as the SKX still keeps good time and never lets you down :P

Very impressed with the accuracy of this swiss made watch - bought it in July last year, worn most day & its only gained 30 sec with one time adjustment a month after I got it.

    Build quality is top class

There has been a bit of commotion in Australian used watch sales, where a "trusted" watch reviewer /seller has been accused of selling fake watches. Some of these watches traded for $25k+.

    He is based in Perth.

Huge thread to go through here : https://www.rolexforums.com/showthread.php?t=722353

Safe to say, if you have purchased a watch from Chris Essery / Horology House it might be worth taking a closer look at your purchase

Yep I've had Smales do an inspection/valuation of an older rolex for insurance purposes.
I assume Watches of Switzerland could do the same.
