After hitting some downhill trails out at the Dell in Mundairing, stoked with the bike! Just need to cut a bit off the seat post so i can get it lower.
Where would be best to get this done?

not really the right thread but

I had my Bianchi full carbon mountain bike stolen from Perth CBD last week and I want to find the thing. It's one of only two in Australia and has a $7K to $8K replacement value. It sticks out like dogs balls as Bianchi mountain bikes are very rare around here. It has black forks, thin road tyres and an oval light green logo with Bianchi written in black on the frame. If you see it please ring me on 0407 812 337 or simply take the bike.....it will be mine. Cheers. P.s. it was spotten in North Perth on Sunday.
    posting for a friend btw

    cheers

get him to let elite cycles on beaufort street know about it, they are a bianchi dealer, chump that stole it might bring it in for a service some time or even try to sell it back to them

    Hi all,

Some of you know my Bianchi mountain bike was stolen last week. I’m determined to find this bike as it’s one of only two in Australia and is very expensive. It was spotted on Sunday on Charles St North Perth at 1:30pm. Police were called and said “what are we going to do about it” and they don’t even want the photo so I have to find it myself.

The bike is a Bianchi XL Tycoon full carbon (can be seen in the pic). Any help would be appreciated. 0407 812 337

    Cheers,

    Brendan Hirniak

Here's a pic of the pingpingpingping that stole it..

Serious question: How did someone manage to take a photo yet not tackle him off the bike?

Fucking fucked cops... Same as when I got clipped by a car, didnt want to lift a fucking finger. Will put the shanghi in my pocket and some marbles in my bag n keep an eye out for ya man, i'll pass the message on to the boys on the terrace too.

Here's my daily commute, nothing special but it pretty much rapes anything not made of carbon on the paths ^_^

(since photo was taken ive put in a new gear set, and got some fancy shimano clips n shooz... running an Armadillo AT on the front, I find it doesnt wear as fast as the conti's, although the contis are a nicer tyre.)

and koolstops certainly put the tail in the air when you need to wash off the speed, fun stuff.

Giant STPs are probably better value.

They're like the R33 GTS' of the Street/DJ MTB world though.

Yeah sold the reign off for something a little more suited
They sure did catch him Marc!
    Fkn meth head.

    Taken from www.hucktoflat.com:

Have just spoken to the detective in charge and was advised that the thief has been in Hakea Prison since last tuesday and has another court case coming up. Thief has admitted to the theft of about 41 bikes that he would sell to strangers for his meth habit. The thief is also very aware of the fact that he came so close to meeting the great bicycle maker in the sky after stealing the bianchi and being photographed. Thanks to the hard work and vigilance of all bike riders on here and Perthmtb this guy was arrested and another thief is off the streets. If you have any other questions send me a pm.
The detective said that the guy was picking people at random and offering the bikes cheap. He did not know until down the track what the bikes were worth, but was selling them for around 100-300 to any body who would buy it so he could buy some meth
I know that at one theft he rode into a city building on an expensive bike and then stole a cheaper one. The other question we need to ask is if you see anybody you know tell you they just bought a great bike for a steal then why did they not say anything as all members on this website and PerthMTB were aware that a ton of bikes were getting stolen. So once again to all observers if it wasnt for your vigilance and people like Bradley and John Carney we would not have caught this guy. so it is good to see people stand up to scum that take what we work for.

New brakes (Avid Juicy 3 Hydros) and tyres since last post. Got a potential SantaCruz Chameleon frame with a few other bits and pieces (headset/stem/cranks) in the pipeline.
