I finished rebuilding my Santa Cruz Mk1 Nomad recently.
I was given the bike for free from my brother in law and rode it on and off for a couple of years but I recently went about stripping the entire thing, cleaning, polishing and re-assembling. All new - bearings, complete 1x10 drivetrain, 316 or Ti bolts throughout, carbon bars, stem, brake overhaul including pads, levers and adjuster thumb screws, seat, rear shock - it rides like brand new again!
Running gear installed last night thanks to Joe - will hopefully get to put some km's on it this weekend.
Once I am moved in next month i'll upgrade the wheels.

team sports can go to hell. I'm never going to rely on some weak minded MufaF@#$ to help me win a game. Ill win it myself. George Leeman.

Just finished reading this. Didn't think that there were many lighter optional parts out there for such high end components.
That Scott Scale RC 900 is 50% lighter than my lead sled, do want!

I wouldn't want to ride that thing for anything other than a race. Then again im built for comfort not speed.
Bought a new frame to build. Eddy Merckx San Remo 76.
I have the group set sorted, still looking for a decent set of wheels.
Oh boy!
What running gear?

Rossin Record that I've built up with full 10sp Dura-ace including Dura-ace wheels (swapping over the new crankset at the moment that was just the test-ride).
Too nice a day not to ride

Sold the XC bike to buy an enduro bike as it's what I get my jollies out of. Picked it up for a steal with brand new MY17 Yari forks, Guide R brakes, front rim and hub, stem, bars, dropper and GX 1x11 upgrade.
Rode it 3 times then stripped it down as the blue and black didn't match my red and grey riding gear! Not to mention it was scratched and chipped to the shit house being a 2014 Specialized Enduro Comp.
Finished building it back up today and looks killer in brushed ali finish, all done by hand mind you.
Needs a longer rear brake and dropper line so I can route them properly (previous owner fault) and it will look cleaner with no cable ties. Now to give it a real test at WAGE Round 1 in Margs on Sunday

Swapped the zeros for a pair of carbon Fulcrum Red Wind 50s
Still playing around with cockpit height, haven't done enough kms to commit to cutting it yet unfortunately.
I’d put one spacer under it at least. Always found it odd looking down hard.
xw Falcon 393 Full race cam. NGK plugs.
Current rides are Santa Cruz Chameleon
Eddy Merckx San Remo 76
