Been told to send back to their Aus warehouse and it will be swapped out right away. Postage costs to be refunded to my card. So far, so good

Cube have been exceptional and provided warranty on my frame before I even send it back.
Even better is they have requested 3 weeks so they can send me a 2014 frame set. Have also approved my original frame to be bonded so I can still ride it until new frame arrives.

    Now that is service

    Not bad.

I know Giant are generally pingpingpingpings when it comes to warranty. Many stories of people waiting months just for assessment.

Been off the trails for a while, but myself and the missus have signed up for the cape to cape so time to get back out there and get some kms into the legs. Have jumped into the 29er camp from our old trance 2's. Shopped around second hand and picked up an as new Pivot 429 for myself (not carbon sadly) but with some nice kit on it, and an awesome santa cruz tallboy C for the missus with an epic build (full xtr, enve carbon wheels etc...) Bike envy much?? Looking forward to hitting the tracks. Hopefulyl get out to Jarrahdale on Monday to see if the 6hr circuit is marked out.

Fuck nice! What sizes are they ? I might have to try swindle a test ride out of you, trying to swing a leg over as many bikes as I can before I choose a new one.

Missus is a medium. (smallest size they do in that frame) Was Johnny Waddels bike. (ex santa cruz downhill legend that just about killed himself doing it in 2003 and finished his down hillcareer. Now does a bit of marathon racing) So suits about 5'5" to 5"8" I think (size chart is online) Mine is a large. So maybe 5'8" to 6'2"??

Registrations open Saturday for the Down South MTB Festival.

I will be definitely doing the 1km sprint challenge (17th overall on the downhill section on Strava) and I know I can go faster if I grow a set..... and stop trying to get huge air on all the jumps

Might give that some thought...never ridden down south, so have no idea what to expect.

Was going to ask the same question, though might be a bit too early to upgrade given I have not actually purchased a road bike yet

keeping it. Easier to sell a bike without Dura-ace then it is with it (cost)

Went to Cyclemania intending to throw some money down on a Defy1, only to be told the 2014 is due next week.

Defiantly prefer the blue over the 2013 white/red. The silver non-series crank looks shit, but like any bike I've owned...it won't take me long to upgrade (to Ultegra).

Hence why I'm holding out for 2013 sales

New daily, built from scratch. Went overkill on the brakes, 4 piston hopes don't fit 160 rotors lol so had to steal the commencals wheel.

Merida Matts Lite 1500-D. frame only is 1.3kg, not bad for aluminium.

Whole build as is, is 10.1kg.
Once I get my spiderless chainring, smaller brakes/adapters/rotors, and put the other crank brother wheel/crossmark on, and maybe some other carbon bits, should be low 9's
