"Few grand" might be a bit steep, unless its an 07 then i could see it.
Certainly without looking at it I would guess at 1200-1800 depending on the year. Here is an 06 model with brand new 08 forks for 1800ish.

Put riding off for so long as I never had the time, which put me off buying a new bike - Slowly getting back into it again - so I'm just progressively upgrading parts on my current bike. Geometry is whack with the forks now, not to mention the long stem.
Part to get/replace.
-Brakes (time for hydros)
-Frame (SantaCruz Chameleon or the likes)
-Stem (something shorter)
-Crankset/BB (replace crappy OEM Deore ones)

mirraco 5star intro. Canned the front brakes, removed gay reflectors, already taken it to a little trail, goes killer on dirt! Trying to learn to grind shit, good fun!

If it's directed at me, i scrounded ebay and farkin until a genuine set of Mosh originals came up.. they were Chrome Alloy from factory, and thought it'd give it the goods, got the Haro Kneesavers in the shed making my red toolbox look pimpin'
Also stripped back the forks to original chrome, did some googling and found they are genuine Answer Factory racing !
Swapped the frame and forks and few bits for a bottle of Beam.

Need to get a fit more bits and pieces, but overall I'm pretty happy with it and will ride it until it breaks parts... replace them and eventually upgrade to a Yeti AS-R Carbon.
I highly recommend AGAINST, falling off this. I hit it with too much speed, came off the end, landed too far down the transition and back wheel went out from under me.....flat on my arse for 20m

i think my bars may be the same as yours they were of a mirraco they feel a bit low but then i havent ridden bmx for a while

Evo Zero, where did you purchase the oddysey pedals from ? and do you remember how much ? When i was building my bmx all i had was the factory shitter black ones off my Avanti for the time being, and a pair of well fucked Bear Traps. Only When i got the cranks dropped in just said fit these for now so i could fall off it.
i got them from strictly bmx while i was in melbourne i think i payed about $30 cos there the clear ones i think the normal colours are about $25 they do mail order online
uh yep, i'll do a google for them then. I tried the main bmx shop down here they didn't have any. Want some blue ones to match the chain if i can.
