As of today, Morgs has relinquished ownership/control of antilag.com to myself.
With this brings a fresh change to antilag. While Morgs was a very competent owner, it had previously been difficult to maintain and update the website when the owner was on the other side of the country to the majority of antilag events.
While there will not be any dramatic changes effective immediately, you will notice a steady shift towards legal motorsport. That’s not to say we will be abandoning our cruises or any other events, but currently the proportion of legal motorsport to “other activites” is grossly lopsided.
With the law cracking down harder and harder on things most of us consider “fun” on the street, the track is becoming a cheaper alternative every day.
Cruise 18 was a great success however, and proved you can still have fun on the street if you are smart and sensible. This will continue, with our 19th cruise being held in the near future.
Expect to see new ideas popping up from time to time, and as always I’m open to suggestions from members as to what they would like to see on the site/forum.
In my opinion, we have a winning combination of people/interests on this site, and I hope this continues in the future of Antilag.com.
