Some of you may have noticed we are now using 3M window films and thought I would give you some reasons why. Most new cars these days have antennas or aerials built into the glass so require non metal films to be used (not on all occasions). We found that 3Ms two best films, 3M Color Stable and 3M Crystalline are both non metal films and provide a bit of variation for your needs. 3M Color Stable looks like this:

I get asked this question everyday "Whats legal tint for my car?" By law, if you own a commercial vehicle (ute, truck, bus, van) your allowed 35% tint on the 2 front doors and 20% tint on any window behind the 2 front doors. If you car is registered as a business vehicle, it does not make it a commercial vehicle. For example, if your boss gives you a VE Commodore(or a Datsun 1600) as a work car, it is not a commercial vehicle so can not have darker tint on the back. Now, if you own a...

Not any issue whatsoever with the tint, tko or installation work But a couple of months ago the missus went in for a service and neglected to mention the clear tint Long story short they've got Michael J Fox to remove the service sticker with a long handled shovel and the entire drivers side is scratched and scuffed. As I said not any issue with TKO, and it is a fantastic product just dont forget to tell people working on your car that you have it. I'll come in eventually to get it...

Just to let everyone know that we do tint office/commercial/residential windows. We have tinted a variety such as Ozzy Tyres, Monsta Torque, Onyx Bar, Primary Schools, triple storey penthouses on the river, old bunky homes in Queens Park and everything in between. Thought i'd put a shout out Thanks to Trent and his Brother (Your partner?) for tinting my brothers clubsport today on short notice. Rang up late yesterday and trent managed to squeeze me in late this afternoon. I wasnt expecting my brother to return for a few more weeks, so had to get the tint done before he drives it back to the pilbara on saturday. So, yeah Thanks guys.

Got a call from Chellingworth to tint a certain multi multi millionaires 2011 Bentley Mulsanne using HP Supreme 35 up front and HP Supreme 4 on back doors and rear screen. Has to be one of the hardest cars weve tinted due to not being able to remove anything. On a normal tint job we like to remove door trims and in this case would of loved to remove the rear shelf, but when your dealing with a car that just got sold for $770,000 taking it apart was not an option.

Finally, after a couple of months delay(due to pen pushing suits) I will be having an opening day on September 11th from 12-5pm. Technically I will be open for business at the new shop on Monday 30th August but dont have a Saturday free until the 11th. The new address is Unit 1, 266 Rutland Ave(corner Briggs), Carlisle.
