  1. Sticky Thread Sticky: Show us your bunky/daily/thrasher

As discussed in another thread, I thought it would probably be a good idea to start a thread where people can post their non-performance cars i.e. bunky, daily driver, thrasher, or whatever you want to call it. I'll kick it off. When I'm not driving my WRX, I'm sailing around in a yacht known as a 1996 Ford Fairlane Ghia.

  2. Sticky Thread Sticky: Pushy love v300001

That time of the year, weathers getting great again, whos doing what, riding where, any new stuff??? Powdercoated my STP0, frame, rims, cranks, headset and bars... Looks freakin awesome, what ya reckon? I hadnt fixed up my brake cable when i took the foto :P Converted to single speed, 8inch rear rotor, and a deity dirtjump seat (ultra lush) trying to sell the forks for something a little smaller - pikes/argyles, but havent managed to offload them yet.

  3. Sticky Thread Sticky: SHOWcase threads

Ok motherfuckers, Listen up. This is called the showcase section of the forums - with a mother fucking emphasis on the word SHOW It is not the writecase, or the dribble case in some circumstances. If you want a thread to chat about your car, get some mother fucking pictures to go with it. And while they dont need to be professional, a blurry pic taken with your iphone during a blizzard is pretty much a fail too.

  1. "Luxury" Lapper - VS Statesman

So, with a stack of my car mates recently getting in on the old Commodore/HSV craze, I've been lamenting in a couple of group chats I wanted something that I could jump into for a cruise once a month to a cars and coffee deal. One of the first cool cars in my school age group was a kid with a VS Stato, gold, lowered on wheels, dark tints. As a 17 year old it gave me wood. As anyone does these days, searching gumtree/fb gets you all excited, then I quickly have to remember I have a wedding...

  2. 1970 Camaro

Well this is my new weekend toy. I've always wanted something old school from the US. Played a very small part in the first FORGED magazine cover car CRISIS, a pro touring 69 Camaro and its been a massive inspiration ever since. Basically its a 502ci BBC Gen VI, built T400, Ford 9". Best it has run is 11.3 down the 1/4 but that was with the old motor and this one is making a bunch more power so it should be good for 10's if I ever grow a pair and try to steer it down the plex :D Its not...

  4. M35 STAGEA HAULER

I've had this car for a little while now and it's pretty much going in the direction like most of my cars end up, so I may as well start a thread. It was just supposed to be a quick, comfortable daily that I wouldn't have to modify much and had to be able to haul just the usual everyday things around in eg, MTB and Bunnings/IKEA trips! It had fucked coil packs so I picked it up cheap off some Indian guy, put a new set of coil packs in and all was sweet for the next 6 months . . .

  5. LX Torana LS1

This thread is a long time coming Short history is i've owned this for a tad over 4 years, second owner. Its factory 173 engine died in 91 and it was sent to Bill Lee (then HDT) for a new engine. A pretty wild 202 was installed but it hasn't done bugger all k's since. Has a HDT tag on the block and a few stickers here and there. I persisted with a 26/30 conversion but couldnt keep it under the bonnet so sold all the bits off and went the LS1 route. I have recently bought a hatch aswell for a...

  6. Baby BMW

Thought I would do a showcase on the daily. After having engine failure in my E90 M3 I was looking for a new daily, prerequisites were practical (4 or 5 door for child seat), RWD, manual, bit of poke. Basically left three options for reasonable money Falcon, Commodore, BMW, and after ruling out the Aussie options I ended up with another BMW. M140i Performance edition, which basically got the full M performance catalogue bolted on (exhaust, wheels, Alcantara and CF interior, CF mirrors,...

  7. Project Bunky (another)

Not sure why I keep doing this to myself, considering I already have one broken track car and another car locked in storage. Glutton for punishment or stupid, I am pretty sure that the jury is out still. Anyways moving on, bloke in town is relocating and in turn couldn't take all his projects. Bit of negotiations later, I took ownership of this 1977 HX One Tonne ute LS1 Conversion with 4L60E auto chassis sandblasted, repaired and repainted chassis custom tray bed bunch of other shit,...

  8. R32 GTR - Blast from the Past

EDIT: Photobucket has gone to shit so to see pics download the following extension while using chrome and they should all pop up... https://chrome.google.com/webstore/detail/photobucket-embed-fix/naolkcpnnlofnnghnmfegnfnflicjjgj?hl=en Had my new R32 GTR at Barbagallo on Tuesday night for the Antilag Time Attack so some people have already seen it but for those who were not there this is the new toy fresh from Japan. Everything points to the car getting modified in the mid to late 90's in...

  9. 2002 Carbon Black.. lucky #4

Onto my 4th E46 M3 and first SMG. In the past I had an estoril, imola, silver grey and now carbon black. Iíve known the car and the owner through the bmw circles for a few years and the opportunity came up to buy it as he moved onto an E92 M3. Here are first few pics when I went to see it... unwashed and sad looking!

  10. Series 3 RX7 Resto Project

Long time reader, bit of a break between posts. I've owned every generation of RX-7 and this shape is my hero car. My parents owned one, i has a series 1 as my first car and i love triangles of doom! So this build started some 5 years ago when i saw an ad for a Series 3 RX-7 pop up on Perthrotary.com before they went to shit and became facebook only... I went to the address, agreed on a price but one thing lead to another and the car got taken off the market. Fast forward to 2ish...

  16. The Lebanese Lamborghini

This is my 1987 VL Calais, I bought it about a year ago off a friend as a regoed roller. It had no brakes or driveline aside from the 9" rear end. Ive spent the past 6ish months working on it in my spare time. The paint is pretty good and surprisingly little rust, just a half assed rust repair on the rear cowl panel so that will be a job for when the time comes to respray it in the original colour (morning blue over silver) It had some kind of v8 and manual gearbox in it previously hence...
