hey guys, having a bit of problems with my v35 sedan. whenever i drive the vehicle for as long as 20 mins it starts to jerk and over rev. I've had it recently service, called jpc and nissan dealers in perth but no luck. any advice? thank you.
car had been stored for 2 years , i changed the oil and added fresh fuel , runs ok but there is a over heating issue that looks like thermostat ( i boiled it in a pot and it didnt open) motor is running a bit ruff @idle and the engine light is ON ill buy a thermostat tomorrow and new coolant with the motor running ruff and engine light ON can you guys give me things to check or am i best taking it to a workshop (this time of year sucks to book in) im located in guildford
I put a 50mm rad and an adaptor plate into the pulsar, but now i cant put the radiator hose back on as the gap is smallrer and the facctory hose wont fit. I have tried trimming it up still not good enought Im thinking ill get a custom hard pipe made up, but who can come and do the mock up on site at my place due to the car cant move without coolant any help would be great please

Alright so my friend brought a s15 not long ago. we took it to allstar to get cams, front mount, brakes, twin plate and nistune. Got it back then it went for a cruise. when the guy that was driving it. snapped first into second and then it made a shit load of grinding and banging noise. its now stuck in reverse and wont come out :S we think its the gearbox but not sure.. anyone know much about these gearbox's and if they're very strong?? If it is the box can anyone recommend a good box?...
I've got a heap of issues with my car, and hoping someone might be able to shed some light: Basically, the car destroyed main bearings. Upon closer inspection, 4 pistons were on their way out (detonation) and the head gasket was cactus. It had a decent rebuild, including new crank, bearings, head gasket and pistons. Hey guys, Trying to diagnose a bit of an overheating problem with my soarer, I have been told that if I can stop the viscous fan while the car is running / revved then it is fucked. Can anyone confirm? You can easily hold the fan and start the car and even if you rev it the Hardley any force trying to throw your hand off, if you let go however it will spin up. Is the hub fucked?
hey guys i just installed a new turbo setup in my car with a 38mm TIAL wastegate. My car also has a turbosmart eboost street boost controller with a 3 way tee solenoid. the thing i need to know by this diagram on the tialsport website http://www.turbosmartusa.com/wp-content/uploads/2011/12/eBoost_Street.pdf My turbo doesnt have the nipple on the front housing and also my wastegate has one vent on the side and one vent ontop for boost lines rather then the two on the side. Where do they go?...

Hey guys im wondering if someone could shed some physics on this mainly applicable equations. Lets just assume a theoretical engine setup consisting of pod filter, turbo and intercooler. If the pod filter sees temperatures far higher than ambient from heat soak the resulting charge temperature will be higher after the intercooler rather than the same temperature regardless of the pod filter temperature. Is there a mathematical equation to find the correlation between less dense air(hotter)...
Hey, hypothetical how laggy would a HKS T51R SPL (A/R 1.00) be on an stock Rb26 Engine? Running 18-20psi? Full boost would be upwards of 5500rpm correct?
Guys this is doing my fucking head in, all the piping ive seen for the evos have no egr pipe on the throttle body pipe. Now if i remove and blank it off, will a normal mitsu computer be able to remove the egr system from the ecu or will it have to visit a ralliart dealer? Who would have thought a cooler and pipe swap would be such a fucker
hey guys, ive put a rb25det series 2 into my cefiro, got it wired up by allstargarage and me and a friend wired up the ignitor section and the coil, injector harness ect, but there is a issue with cylinders 4 and 6 not firing, we have conti tested everything, its got power and earth to everything, but number 4 has 14 volts to the injector, all the rest have 12 something. Everything we have done is pretty much correct, but id like some help on this, what else can it be? discuss if its happened...

Hi Guys, This may be a stupid question but just keen to know what I am up against. Recently I have noticed that as my car comes on boost there is quite a loud wooshing noise as if a lot of air is escaping and also my BOV noise has been a lot quieter than what it used to be on release. My question is am I right in assuming it is my BOV leaking or could it be something more serious?
started getting a rattle from the front (side) of my engine yesterday. Intake side, in the area of the injectors/valves It started after I swapped over a factory pipe connector to a silicon one, between the MAF and the turbo inlet pipe. Hey guys Just about to do my first service on my fg xr6t ute and just wandering what engine oil to use.? In previous turbo cars i have had and used penrite hpr 15 so was going to go with that . I was also at ford today asking this question but all they could tell me to use is there ford branded oil, wasn't to keen on that. cheers chris
anybody know what this does? its a vacume line above sort of where the rear turbo is(1j) please ignore pod location, just found the pipe in the boot lol was looking around for obvious things wrong and this just snapped in my hand when I moved it.. could it be causing issues? can I bypass the funny circular thing on it as thats whats snapped off inside the hose.
As per title, fat fingers here has dropped a collet in the head somewhere! I felt it in the hole in centre of picture, oil gallery? My question is, should I be fishing around in there with a magnet? Or will I find the fucker in the sump?? Call, pm, reply, whatever suits, :/
