I would like to resize a large number of photographs, does anyone know of an application capable of doing so?

http://download.microsoft.com/download/whistler/Install/2/WXP/EN-US/ImageResizerPowertoySetup.exe

There ya go guys.

Instal that, then you can just select a bunch of photos, right click, and select "Resize Pictures"...

If you have photoshop its easy.

1. Open an image you want to resize.
2. In the Actions palette, create a new action.
3. click record and in the pull down menu select image size and resize the image to you desired setting.
4. Make any other adjustments to the image and once finished, click the 'stop' button.

OK heres the fun part.
5. Go to the file menu, select 'Automate' then 'batch'
6. select the folder u want to resize the images, select the action you just created and select the destination folder.
7. Click OK.

Thats about it :)

That takes about 10 times longer then the microsoft one

open folder , select all

file, resize pics

pic size, or set custom, you can create copies or override originals depending on what you want

click go

done.

lol Tom I know.
But it is a much more powerful tool.
You cant make any other image adjustments with the other software.
