My engine will finally be going in tomorrow and im wondering if anyone can give any advice on how to fit one of Dilans cooler kits into my R32 rb20.
Any pictures will be muchly appreciated aswell as i know sweet fvck all
I have bumper off its been repaired and resprayed and my bumper beam (reinforcement) has been previously cut to fit cooler by previous owner in japan as pictured below...

its a head **** i still managd to do it tho
did u get brackets for ur car? or do you have to make them?
if u have to make them the cooler has to have some angle on it so the pipes match up like so...
http://i35.photobucket.com/albums/d193/123MMM/IMGP4177.jpg
and i also had to buy a longer silcon hose to join the pipes to clear the fan, cause no way in hell was i gonna chop the fan if ya have any problems just post in here and ill se if i can help
end product looked awsome tho :)

Thanks for those pics MMM they will come in handy when i try to fit it.
One pipe has bracket on it. Here is pics of kit...
Pipes look a little different hmmmmm

Have you got any under bonnet pics? Is this piping spose to run all the way up to the trottle body?
ahh sweet same cooler/piping as mine
ill go get some pics now
ok.. u retain ur stock pipe that goes into throttle body and also the pipe coming from turbo
http://i35.photobucket.com/albums/d193/123MMM/IMGP4195.jpg
also i had to get a nipple welded onto the intake pipe to get a boost reading for my actuator since this kit didnt come with one..
http://i35.photobucket.com/albums/d193/123MMM/IMGP4192.jpg
heres the longer hose i used to join the pipes so i didnt have to chop fan
http://i35.photobucket.com/albums/d193/123MMM/IMGP4193.jpg
and heres the bracket held in place on the engine..i dont think the rb20's come with a bracket there soo mite have to try source one off a rb25?

hope this helps ya

ninja talk to tiesto/adam on msn, he did his at home on his r32.
also as MMM has put a picture of a nipple on his pipe r32's dont have that as the turbine compressor wheel has a line that goes to actuator where u can cut in half and join bleedvalve

yer man its a head fuk to do
about a days work if your keen
only need to cut 3" or bigger hole under battery tray, in my 32 there was like an imprint which you can see so i cut that out and it lined up
still havnt mounted the top pipe to engine just cable tied securely for now
on the other side i just cut open the hole so you can move the pipe around easier
let me know i can take pics of 32 setup if u want

Thanks Nik, i just got hold of a 3" holesaw last night. Looks perfect size, about .5 of a cm clearence each side of pipe ;).
Would it be a good idea to put some form of Rubber around where i end up cutting incase pipe touches it? Constant vibration could eat away at the pipe.
I will make sure it doesnt touch though.

yer you could, i know tiesto wrapped some rubber around the fmic pipe and cable tied it on so it doesnt touch

Just an update...
I fitted bumper. The gtr vents have to be trimmed down dueto them hitting cooler ,as youcan see the 2 vents arnt in at the moment. I will trimm them down then put them back in :), it looks really good the freshly painted bumper with the lower lip colour coded ;)
Only prob that i can pic is that there is a gap between the bottom of intercooler and bumper but you cant notice it from the front of car ,only if you stand upclose.
Might make up something to fill gap.
