Nice one Jimmy!

Been trying to convince my old man to get one of these for years - first he came back with a H6 outback, then last week he came home with an Impreza 2.0R wagon :( when will he learn??

Looking forward to seeing it out and about.

Cheers Guys, Love the car... and love the torque hole TJ, which can apparently be tuned out with a piggyback ECU rather than a single turbo conversion...

Sold the car on tuesday Jazza, plates will go on the B4 when the transfer papers come through probably mid next week!

AFAIK all the B4's came with 4-speed auto or 5-speed manual transmissions... mine is the 5-speed! :D

Definitely keep tryin to convince him Shane... its classy yet powerful, comfy and yet it handles surprisingly well... with some stiffer springs and maybe an ALK... should be SIK!! :p

ecu-tek will tune out some of the hole on turbo switching, but still pretty noticeable...

awesome ride though, classy and quick!

My thoughts exactly... tired of looking over my shoulder to see where the nearest boy-in-blue is hiding before taking the car over 4000rpm... only problem now is speeding in the new car... 110kph+ at the top of 2nd gear!! :dizzy:

']dude im pretty sure i saw your rex wagon at a deli in rockingham was it you or the new owner yesterday
That would be the new owner dude... I handed the car over on tuesday, picked up the B4 on wednesday night... He does live down that way so that would def have been him! :werd:

do a rear swaybar too, cheap as chips, and after seeing one understeer badly at an MC day, might be worth a look.
porka wheels on a subaru, what is the world coming to? :D

Well... Its been a while since ive updated this, so i thought id show you guys how the car is looking now!..

Basically, I have fitted:

Apexi Power intake
Dump pipe back 3" exhaust
19" RS-GT Rims(black with silver lip)
Kings Low Springs
Whiteline RSB
GFB BOV
S203 Replica Lip

Plus a few gauges, big stereo, Optima Battery etc etc...

All in all, its coming together!... Will be getting a Verso Tune in the near future which will hopefully net some nice figures and iron out the VOD issues! :werd:

Here are a few pics from along the way!

thats really nice and tasteful mate. got a front mount on order?

Jimmy_S
26-02-2007, 04:40 PM
Cheers mate!!

I have been considering a front mount... but the Optima battery takes up half the engine bay... and Subaru's dont exactly have bulk room under there to start with!...

I am looking into it tho!

:D

looks great mate..
stylish and fast, cant go wrong!
was going to look at one but went for the falcon instead. guess i like burnouts too much :(

you ever taken it to motorplex out of interest? what would one run with a zorst like yours?

Jimmy_S
03-03-2007, 07:28 AM
cheers fellaz...

havent been to the plex yet and im not aware of what sort of times would be run with the mods i have??
Its fast enough for me on the street... but once its had a retune i may take it down to the Plex and see what happens...

Funnily enough I was also considering an XR6T when i was buying as well... Pretty much i dont trust myself to ever stop doing burnouts... so XR6T would have been a worrying car for me to own!...
