Hey guys my r33 RB25det is misfiring on boost... im pretty sure this relates back to my sparkplugs as it got worse when the engine was washed hence the moisture down there. I took the rocker cover off to try dry them out and it worked when i went out during the day and boosted it round to see. It was fine until i drove tonight when the air was alot cooler. Its only misfiring a bit like a mili second of breakdown then boosts then another milli second of breakdown.
Am i correct is it the spark plugs?? i use NGK 'R' type i dont think they are iridiums. Also if they arent gapped out of the box how much difference can this make?? And NO! im not a numpty i did gap them ages ago im more curious as to how much difference it makes when u boost if not gapped properly?
Finally what is the reccommmended S.Plugs for rb25det????
Cheers all

You will be able to tell from the box what gap the plugs are (should specify)
If they're not gapped correctly then it will do as you described
NGK copper 6s in a .8mm gap is generally ok, you may have to gap it down to .7

I use iridiums 6 - gapped to 0.6mm... only because I missed the .7 mark..lol

seems to do the job.

i think as long as you use the NGK ones or Iridiums with a cold temp of 6 (if that's what it's even called) gapped down to .8 at least.
