The web site below was brought to my attention today.

This is the site that has caused so much controversy of late. They still can not track down where the site has come from, who is behind it -there is no trace to the site, no domain and they can't shut it down at present as they can't trace where it's coming from. I think it is pretty safe to say that an Aussie is behind it - think the name is a dead give away.

Anyways, just type in your street name (dont enter drive, street etc - just name) and Suburb and see what happens!

Thought you can protect your privacy? Think again! pretty scary ****!

It is supposed to list private numbers, but checked out mine and it is not on there, thank god! Is yours?

Doesn't matter anyway, because for just $300.00 Telstra will supply anyone who asks for a complete directory (not the usual white pages) showing all private numbers and mobile numbers too! Not going to tell you the name of it though - I'm paying for a private number for a reason!!!!!!!!!!!!

it does not list silent numbers, as my parents number is not listed, my home one which isn't silent is..

The problem with all this is that it helps theives to case out target houses that they want to break into .If you know where someone lives or a house you want to break into just call house and if therees no answer then chances are that they arnt home.Party time for them. :mad:

Well lets say that you wanted to do some breakins in the lockridge/basso area. Type in 6054 in the post code and take your pic .
Names addresses and phone numbers come up.
With white pages you need a particular name of person you want to do over.

i payed for private to when i got my line connected, i already complained my details werent kept private and they payed a bill for me to escape any legal action i might have taken
