just wandering how much permits cost or does it depend wat there for and how long are they valid for????

Ok everyone seems to be talking about different types of permits here!

Are we talking about Temporary Movement Permits, or Modification Permits?

& mod permit up to 5 items per permitt, but cops dont care about these anyway, they wont look at them & just sticker you regardless! :lol:

A proper permit for mods on a car will cost $28.00. When you go for the permit you are allowed to list 5 mods on the permit for the $28.00. So if you are doing further mods soon then wait and go do all at the same time.

This permit has no time limit on it from what I remember.

Ive been pulled over by the cops and showed them permits for mods I have done and they were quite happy. They only get ****ty when you get permits for a few things then mod some more and dont get the extra permits

If your talking about modification permits i wouldnt even bother getting them anymore as they cops are allowed to sticker you for wats on there. Spoke to guys at licencing when i got my sticker off week ago and they said its honestly not worth wasting your money cause they just got and sticker you for the stuff anyway

yerrp it doesnt matter if you got the permit or not, its what the cop thinks, he wont care bout the permit for it, IF he thinks its illegal he WILL sticker you for it!

i got 2 pages of mod permits front and back and they told i can have as many as i want on there
its helped a few times with cops
they see the permits and realise youve done the right thing and usually leave you alone

Agree with GT4.
they get confused by all the writing and dont notice other things that are illegal about your car. I got pulled over and before they could even ask for my licence I handed them the permit list. they never asked for my licence or checked to see if my tyres where bald. (which the rear ones were at the time.) They gave me a 'talking' to about driving a little less eratic, i just did the "yes sir, yes sir, three bags full sir" and they said have a nice night and left.

if u get a 4 point roll cage in ya car i was told u have to join a car club and get a CAMS license or something is that true?? if so what car clubs are there to join and who do i see and ask about it??
