Anyone got any good ideas for where to mount an Oil Catch can in an R32 Gtst?

Also I read one installation guide that says the exit pipe should just vent to the atmosphere.. is this true or is it better to hook it back into the inlet pipe before the turbo??

i thought they had that U turn pipe on top of the rocker cover, and you just tap the can inbetween that with some extra pipe...

dont quote me on that tho, i only owned a RB20 for a lil while and never ventured into catch cans and the like :)

Lol, thanks for the brilliant insight boys. :dizzy:

I kinda thought it would be good stuck to my roof but I'm a little short on piping

mounted on roof would have awsome cooling effect you can get extra pipe from total eden.

on a serious note my housemate dented his fmic and is now running a pvc pipe to connect the turbo to the intake manifold think about that boys !

The r32 gtr's mount the cans down near the battery you need a fair bit of pipe to do that. Legaly the catch can's breather must connect to the inlet manifold but thats like the boc must recirulate its all bs just put a breather filter on the can and hope the cop's never get smart enuff to learn what all the different pipes are.

Cheers dude,

I was thinking about down near the battery actually, the extra pipe is no issue so i'll go with that. I don't think my can has a connection for a breather filter.. can I just attach one to the exit(recirculate) pipe?

I'd be interested to see how long some good ol' pvc lasts with super hot air running through lol

no problems I'll let you know how well it runs with the plastic injection system.
