Looking to upgrade my stock fuel pump, can anyone make a recommendation as to which of these two pumps is the better type?
I know Walbro make a pump rating to around 500hp or there is the Bosch 044 pump. Will be fitted to a R33 GTS-t RB25 with cooler, exhaust and SAFC II.

044, but might be abit more complex to install then the walbro and maybe even an overkill for just those modifications
try go for the bosch 040 model if u can.. cheaper and will still do the job :)
040 marbles will have one for sale soon i think.
id go an 023, exact same as 040 physically, except greater flow

great, however I will not be purchasing from marbles!
An 040 for $225 new seems like good value so far.
id go a walbro 255lphr pump seein as mods are only fmic/zorst & safc2...can be found for $150 odd and will support your expected power without too much difficulty...(~300rwhp)
on the other hand, if you dont mind a bit of noise & intend on goin for more hp later on, then go the 044...

Joe aka BALLSAC is selling 044's for $315.
PM that nigger.
i have a walboro pump in my car and have had no dramas at all, marbles on the other hand is on his second ina space of a couple of months. i have heard of others having trouble with the bosch pumps.
I dunno about that...I've sold hundreds of Bosch pumps, and I've only ever had 2 come back.
Both pumps were tested by Bosch and said to be ok, put down to user error..
