What happened to "SNYPER"

hey guyz.
im just wondering if anyone has seen this car around? plates are SNYPER. (see pic) i use to see it all the time in morley area but obviously it has been sold or whatever. im jus curious if anyone knows anything about this car. nicest liberty that ive seen!

that is a pic from back int he day that is for sure.. I know it was sold on not long after that show and from there it dissapeared off the face of the earth.. maybe went to the east??

lol, nicks old gx/rs...yeah was sold not long after shows (for $23k odd) & after popping several engines & boxes...car lived in cottesloe for awhile after that, then was sold again as far as im aware...

yeah i remember seeing it parked under a tree at a cottesloe house for quite a while but this was a few years ago now, i dare say its probably in fairly average condition now, far from its show best.

better off IMHO, buying another ****ter 4wd lib <snyper used to be one anyway, its not a true RS> thats rego's, slap all the good running gear into that, sell off parts, and bling you don't want, sell off old doors and shell etc to someone, probably only end up costing you a few k

Goff bought it several years ago, blew a box and a motor, got stickered, car became a grass ornament, he bought an evo, got screwed over on that i believe. Car has been in his possession since the original owner 'nic' sold it to him 5 years ago. Motec is an M4 or 48 i believe, rs replacement box, std diffs, standard wrx internals with usual bolt on's. It 'needs' suspension/bushes, a tidy up as there is some gaudy trim and gold detail on it. I think it has a West Racing tune, which usually means high afr's but bugger all timing.

Buy it, grab an 05 jap spec STI spec C for 20kish and transfer all the love :D

last time I saw this car it was extremely rough and sporting more than its fair share of dodgy (and tasteless) work. 7.5k is still a massive bargain though

i think right now you might want to go for something that so isn't prone to breaking things, whether it be motors or drivetrains :)

I've had 3 Subaru's that I was never really easy on, in fact quite the opposite, especially with the last two, and only had one gearbox breakage which was due to other factors, so don't listen to all these people saying Subaru's are really weak, they arent that bad.
