Howdy All,
These are pretty good phones, but the first batches through had bad software issues... This has been fixed now and if you had a dodgey one and are on telstra, take it to telstra repair agents and they will upgrade the software for you (with sufficient proof of ownership).
If it is still r00ted after three times in repairs, then you get a new phone supplied to you from telstra.

6230's which came out about 2 1/2 years ago got phone of the year 2004. Solid as. Awesome phone. About 9 months ahead of most other phone companies. 6230i which came out about 10ish months ago was pretty ****e to start with as alot of phones first are, due to software issues. ****, anyone got a windows based computer that they regularly get windows updates for? Phones/PDA's and converged decives are the same. Gotta update them if you're buying some of the first on the market (alot of the time). They're back to being a solid phone again though. Just better screen and better camera to the 6230 though... Wouldn't buy it myself at the moment, but nothing wrong with them.
