I might still put in a rb20 or 25 but want to know how much and hard it will be to put a 1jz in. Dose eneyone know someone that has done this or can do it?

wrong section man. Try puting your post in a different section of the forums as you wont get the same feed back. I cannot seeing it being that hard. I would probally say it would be pretty costly though. Depending on mounts. it will probally be cheaper just to buy a rb30 bottom end andrb25 head and put that in. That will be happy for at least 400rwhp

400 rear on a std 30 bottom probbaly doesnt fall under reliable catagory

my mate at the moment is doing a vl rb25det conversion on his vl. he bought a half cut from KYB in welschpool for around 3 k (60 xxx kms on it) and is getting cypher industries i beleive to do the conversion which is costing him another 2 k for the conversion alone + intercooler + exhaust + tune etc...

yes been done.. check calaisturbo.com ... big mods are exhaust as its on the other side of engine on a 1j
