Is there any way of fixing the hicas on the gtr skyline once they get all loose.This one has a yellow sticker and needs to be fixed to pass.Has anyone pulled these things apart.Can they be welded solid.

You can cancel out the hicas. You need a couple of parts to do it. Sorry I can't elaborate more cause I can't remember where I saw the info.

I'm sure the skyline forums would have plenty of info on this.

Found new parts at nissan so its fixable now.

pull the small plug in the boot, that should disable hicas warning light

also
wilkos suspension make an excellent hicas eliminator for a reasonable cost

PM Micko as he has the info you will require, i think he has sourced the proper hicas lockout kits.

Many places sell kits for this

What is actually loose??? is the rear HICAS rack stuffed? or is is the tie rods playing around? Either way, there are two kits. One comprises of a bar, which replaces the hicas rack, the other being some funny looking clips which lock it in place.

I'd go for the bar.
