the ink? nah i dont mind. doesnt really mean anything. just a face going through a sun designed by Designers Republic in the UK. twe12ve is just my fave number. yeah i thought it was a cool design. i just didnt want to do any japanese/chinese writing, no dragons or anything tribal..i wanted something different...used a lotta ink on the face tho...that one hurt a fair bit

dependes on the quality of the ink and how much sun that it copps.

Good ink even in sun will last 5 years +

The tattooist that did mine on my neck used **** ink and its faded a bit. He said he would redo it free so im waiting till i have holidays to gt it redone because i have to wear coller shirt to work and it will rub and pull scab off

LNYMRKO : Above all dont put it on yourself unless it really has meaning. Dont do what alot of other ppl do and pick whatever is in the shops book or display and say I want that. Best way is to draw it yourself as I have done with all of mine apart from the symbols and writing and the writing does say exactly what it is suppose too.

I have been getting my tat's done over the last 13 years. If you are going to get aparticular writing done as I have on my arms and wrists then I would suggest what some other ppl I know have done is download the language onto microsoft word and type it yourself then print LOL then ya garranteed to get it to say what you want it to say.

I'm a water sign and a big fan of all things beautiful, graceful and natural! I guess thats why i work for CALM too :)

dude dont get the inside of the bicep..itll take ages and itll hurt worse than when your mother beat you over the head with her big flaps. its supposed to be almost as bad as the inside of your wrist!

unless you are in the habbit of cutting into your arm with a hot soldering iron i suggest you go biceps first (outside)

also, my advice - get LOVE HOPE FAITH TRUST in english, but old english gangster writing - why chinese? are you chinese? or cos you think it looks cool! if you get it in english you will know 100% what it said! my mate here has FORGED written vertically on his forearm in old english caligraphy. it looks TOUGH - way tougher than poxy chinese or katakana script which no one understands but just looks "cool" - its what all surfies dude..do something original dude..get it in english.

Theres a good place on scarboro beach road that do tattoos. They did all my ex-boyfriends tattoos at a reasonable price! Forgot the name of the place but its the tattoo and piercing place kinda in the middle of scabs and innaloo shops!

No inside of wrist doesnt hurt that much. Places it does tickle a bit are the back of your neck where the spine and neck join and also very dangerous ( So if ya get one there get it buy someone experienced ). You can see where i mean from my pics of my back. Chest tickles a bit and the inside of the bicep. Back of hands and feet tickle and bacisally on any joint on the body eg: elbow, wrist, ankle etc etc

But really after all my tattoos the best way to discribe getting a tat is like getting really bad sunburn, it stings a bit and it just depends on where you put it as to how much string ya want hahahahaha

Twe12ve - I was thinking about getting the dragon shaded, but I am still not sure on it cause I don't want the definition to run/rub as I get older, and have it look like a bruise which is why I have done nothing about it as yet. The cross is like AJ's but not as huge, in a different location and probably means different things to both of us :)

The cross is incomplete, as I mentioned before, I'll get the lines straightened up. Was going to get it coloured in (black) but didn't. After talking to a few people I decided not to cause the tattoo would be dominate on my small frame and I didn't want to tat to stand out more than I did lol

AE86: i disagree - the inside of the wrist fukn caned. id describe it more as a soldering iron going into your skin. as it got to the top of the wrist (near the hand) it got almost unbearable. fair enough i dont have the highest pain threshold but ive taken a fair few hard knocks and have been stabbed before so its not like im a stranger to pain - but i honestly reckon the inside of the wrists were shocking...

It freaking hurt because they couldnt use a clamp. So they did it very slowly to get the angle right.. and they have to do it twice.. First time ive ever grinded my teeth during a piercing haha

This is the first piece of my future sleeve. It's my name in it's traditional form, in the ancient indian language of sanskrit (resembles hindi) - as I'm a Indian of the Brahman class. Next piece is getting done in three months, which involves some polynesian/indian/arabic tribal designs which are wrapping around my forearm. All my work is going to be custom and original.

Cheers man. All black ink... posssibly some gray shading. Colours turn out pretty **** on my complexion ive been told. So because there are no colours, the design will be very important as the detail might not be easily seen, runining the overall design. Basically, some regions will be softer then others, just to get the contrast with the overall effect/design..

Mid India, you could say. Im not a tamil south indian, and im far from a northerner (punjabi, sikh's etc).

Saw some of your tat's too, I especially like your avatar design. Good to see there's reasoning behind each piece on your forearm. Actually im digging most of the tat's people have put up on here..

Already got one down the inside of my right forearm that im a bit anti about... says out of control in jp so im looking at what i can ink over it in the same space now im a tired old bastard. Either that or something to compliment it and make it stand out less and blend in with the rest of a sleeve.

Next though is the right upper arm, Going to get my family crest with the welsh dragon wrapped around it kinda tearing into it, drawing it now should look great LOTS of colour, coloured tats look awesome. This one is for my heritage and family.

After that comes the southern cross on the inside of my left calf but with 5 point stars and kinda stylised. For my homeland.

After that i want to get a piston down the outside of my right forearm, lots of colour and maybe an explosive type backdrop that will blend in to the inside. For my passion and interest, love cars, bikes and motors always have and will.

Then when i have a child in the next few years i'll get his/her name done and their date of birth above my heart on my chest, maybe over their handprint as a baby, my friend jase just got his babies hand print on his right calf which is a wicked idea.

I'll take photo's as they get done, crest/dragon should get kicked off in the next few weeks.

Piercings -> I've got an industrial in the top left, i want to get 3 bars in the right eyebrow in series but on a 45* angle and and then a couple of studs on the inside of my right ear.

Yup im from Karnataka, folks originate from the city of Bangalore which is the regions biggest city pretty much. Be sure to check out Goa on the west coast if you head to India, some of the best beaches in the world.

Graf tattoos are dope but i can imagine theyd start to turn pretty **** after 15 years or so, just because of the detail+closeness. Still wouldnt mind geting something done in that style... but yeh I think colours are a must for something like that, so guess its a no go.. 1 disadvantage of being dark I guess ;)

If you cant make it out, it's Ned Kelly holding his gun, with his last words on the bottom. The top of the tat, where it turns to smoke, flows across onto his chest where he has the burning Glenn Rowan Inn.

Can't see it all, but it looks bombed.

On his back, he has a huge tat of a scorpion, with its tail/stinger being his spine. Looks nuts because it looks real to some degree. If you have seen Tools/Perfect Circles lead singer Maynard, his tattoo is very similar.

my latest design. hand drawn so it took a while. about 85% done. just needs to be cleaned up and insert the numbers into the bottom canvas. ive got to shrink it can fit on my left bicep, that, or get bigger biceps. Tidying up will take a couple of hours to fix a few small errors and clean up some lines, but thats what you get with freehand drawings....and i wanted something completely done by me.
