well as the topic says i have to gates, one being external from hte manifold but nothings hooked up to it??? wats the deal with that?
secondly i have the standard gate actuator on the turbo witch has a vac line conected to it, vac line goes from cooler piping (just after turbo) then to the actuator? why is this, whats stoping me from using the external one? and is it even conected properly????
helpp me this has got me stumped

The previous owner probably had a big turbo without built-in wastegate on it, but decided to remove it before selling. He probably couldn't be arsed removing the external wastegate and replacing the manifold to put it back to standard.

yeh it isnt connected by with any vaccum lines because the external gate pressure is higher than the actuater pressure and it was hitting boost cut as it was so there is no need to use it untill u get an aftermarket ecu...
reason for using the external gate on the internally gated turbo is for better boost control

if you do want to hook up the external gate without a boost controller it will run approx 12psi
just take the line off the actuator and run it to the nozzle that is at the bottom of the gate... (its the one closest to exhaust manifold)
