:lol: Wanting to install dogbox to our Laser TX3 4WD Turbo. What will the outcome be? Where can I purchase one? How much will it set me back? How difficult will it be to install myself? What veiws do you have on them?

I dont know to much about them , but i do have mates with them in there cars and from what i see of theres ,they are.....
BIG dollars $$$$
Tricky to drive smoothly

But very strong.
I love the sound of them,my mates get sik of the constant whining from them

PPG or PAR are 2 companies in Australia that could build you one but for a full dog set allow about $5-6K.
PPG straight cuts are very noisy, PAR less so but certainly not something you would want to drive every day.
And Dog boxes still have dog rings ( sort of like syncros ) which do wear out , especially if you are ham fisted with the gear changes.

Personally, I think you're overcapitalising. A dogbox would be a heafty investment for a TX3....
Dollars aside, they're awesome. Noisy, clunky, grumpy things really not suitable for road applications. But you can really hammer it :)

wouldnt a gearbox from a 323GTR be a better option? i assmume they are compatible?

Albins off road gear is the place to see. Speak to Ivan albins he is the guy that designed and built the original dog engagment gear sets for the 323 gtx and they are still helical cut so not to noisey.
Last time i spoke to him he had a complete set less 2 parts.

THAT was the other place I was trying to think of.
Didn't he build the boxes for Murray Coote when he was running the ARC rally rounds in one quite a few years ago ?
