Figured i mite as well post it up on here whilest Im bored :)

finally took some pics my XD 351 C
Nothin too special,just pretty straight, repainted in later model ford color, runs a '51clevland on LPG, lowered. LSD, c4 tranny, 3" exhaust with single muffler dumped before the diff, mild cam, and crap gas mixer

Slowly tidying it up
Visually I have added clear front indicators, repainted the front and rear bumpers black, changed grill to black, polished and painted the rims, umm.. and i think thats about it

Once i get the right wheel/trye combo i should be lowering it again. Tyrers are currently to small which = sump hitting and scraping a fair bit (considering how high it looks)

Probably should have washed it a bit better before hand, but heres a couple shots :)

heres a before and after of the rims. Bit of autosol, paint and wet and dry does wonders

looks good but it needs a set of rims ;) and the ford badge on the front again ;)

dude check mayhems for sale post for rims ... toyo and ford have same stud pattern ... just the centre hub sometimes is too small ... nice set of 17's with dish in there ... or i will be sellin my 17's soon aswell

our cars are running very similar set ups too ... c4 auto ... stage two cam ...
what sort of power you got ? any ideas of 1/4 mile times ?

I now sfa when it comes to wheels / offsets etc.
Have to go see mr money man now too, personal plates can wait :)

was wondering what u were rolling around in Jase... thats dam sweet.. dam nice paint job by the looks too, very straight...351 noice! got any pics of the sucker or is she needing a clean in da bay :)

No pics untill engine ba is repainted :)

Car was originally white, and engine bay was ment to be painted black... but that never quiet happened :)

I've got to go see a guy about a billet gas carbie soon, and then toss up between that or a large throttle body as a replacement.

Then I am going to see a guy I know about a rebuild. At the moment Im looking at keeping it 351, but wil see what they reccomend.
Rebuild wil be pretty basic, and wont be for at least 6 months, so ill look into a few things in the mentime

Gas rapes the oirque but, anything under 1500rpm is embarrasing... anything above that is still embarrasing too.. but thats coz it next to stock :)
My 5L has heaps of go off the line, then fades off. This thing on gas really lacks that. 2.77LSD with a 3spd auto isnt much help either

And Ben, depending how much you want I will consider it. Otherwise ill just put up with mini wheel spec for a bit and spend that cash on the engine and new set of headers :D
