Commo ute drifting - need information (animated gif provided)

Just wondering if any of you guys know if:

a) these guys are actually for real
b) they can drift worth a f**k
c) any information as to where the gif came from in the first place
d) where I can mail to them an audio tape of me cracking up laughing for half an hour straight

yeh was on sbs yesterday the ute actually goes ok like wins or places highly quite pften by the looks of the show they were doin a rundown of the aussie drift sircuit or sumn, drifts well

Yeah was doing a rundown of the championship for 2005. That ute puts out if i recall either 700hp or 1000+hp. Cant remember which.
Actually drifted it pretty well too.
Paul Morris helped build it. So isnt that bad of a car..

The engine in the ute is out of Robby Bolgers crewman which made 1022rwhp at summernats last year. He can drive too. He can also ride a bike, hes one of the donut king stunt riders

A) 1000+hp and bulk cash spent on set up - doesn't get much more serious
B) Yeah he goes ok...lots of power out slides though which aren't really drifting

As pointed out its robbie bolgers ute, it has a supercharged motor cranking out 1000hp..

the 7l monaro is only making 7-800 hp in NA form, and is driven by jeremy lake..

As for his driving ability, well hes **** house, i saw the ute in action shortly after it was completed in SA, and he had a lot to learn, and this was shortly after his article in street machine claiming he'd hand everyone they're arse on a platter, personally i don't think he has improved much since then either, his win in the Drift australia series was questionable, at best, tho given the judging that goes on in DA events, im not overly suprised..

he doesn't have massive angles, he has **** corner entries, and the only thing he is good for is smoking the bags hard...

theres a lot more to drifting than that..

i seriously hope he gets put to total shame if he does go to the international D1 event that was mentioned after he won the DA event..

and for the record, hes a **** stunt man too, the rest of his crew are a lot better than he is, the funniest thing ive seen was this year at the waneroo v8 round, where someone stuck a GAY AND PROUD sticker on his ute without him noticing, see attached image..

seen him drift and muck around at bathurt in his ute not really impressed also that manaro was struggling aswell. Watched vids of him drifting he lent the car to one of the other guys who drives a s13 he did alot better job.

imo he's put the effort/cash into his ute and come out pretty good it seems. maybe he's not the most intelligent lad out there, but he's out there givin it a shot...maybe iv missed the point but why bag someone out that has actually put in the effort...its not like he's a rouseyspec!

Yeh Im not really that impressed with him - not a lot of technique - moreso just wrapping the herbs on as he leaves a corner.

i reckon it would be a alot harder to drift a 1000hp blown V8 ute than it would a dirty SR drft80.....

Credit the the CAPA guys for getting involved in competitive drifting in Australia....

i was watching the drifitng also on sunday just past..this thing makes something like 1000 hp im pretty sure..yes it can drift..yes it does provide a smoke screen and yes they r for real!

I also saw him on the friday night at indy with mark and beau. Cant say he was too spectacular. I was more impressed with the guy driving the stocko suspension blown SS CAPA ute he was arse out the whole time with BIG long power skids.
