Does anyone know of any 24 hour indoor/outdoor courts basketball courts with lighting?

Its summer and the only time a few us can play is after hours. Used to play in North Perth but i think the locals got fed up and they turned off the lights and made it illegal to park near the courts.

Anyone?

um .... the park on i think its Loftus St ... but its only a mini ring ... bout 8 1/2 ft good for two on two .... you can dunk the **** outtah it and the mutha wont break .... Mullaloo Beach has lighting and two quarter courts ... Park across from Alexander Heights Shops on Mirrabooka ave ... Depending on how late Sacred Heart High School on west coast hwy (dont park in the school carpark cos they lock the gates after a certain time n once we got stuck in there for ages) most Rec centres only charge a few bucks for casual play nowdays any how

Yeah i dont mind paying, but im sort after a late night court. After 11pm sort of thing.

The mini court is on Highlands St if i remember correctly. Its a huge park that can be seen from Loftus St.

Its just a shame really.

There is so much focus on hoons, but honestly, what other options are there for us? I mean, i work till 9 most nights, and i have a few friends that work similar hours, so what else is there for us to do?

Cockburn goes till 9-10pm most nights.

Perry lakes have courts available at 9pm plus on many nights (check which nights before you rock up)

Most basketball stadiums have a late night legue...

Yeah but no courts have a 12-4am league.

Ive written a couple of letters to the town of vincent and they've agreed to fix the lights at the North Perth courts and will keep them on as long as the locals arent exposed to anymore hoon like behaviour. So if you plan on going there, try keep it down.

Check if there's courts with lights on the corner of Loftus and Richardson Rd in Leederville, i come outta TAFE on a weds about 9'ish and the lights r still on. That'd be in the Town Of Vincent, not far from their main offices.

Otherwise u find a small court in like a community park, and someone in the area usually has the key for the lights, u just hire it for the night or whatever. There's one like this in BOYA, but thats too far to go (in the Foothills) but the thing is those people are more leanient than ppl in the inner city.

dude you are so right. my mate has a basket ball court with proper lighting in his backyard in kalamunda. was awesome. we could finish work at 10, get there at 10:30, buckets till 11pm then bball all night...

u got f/a chance of finding a public one dude...esp one NOT inhabited by randy street boongs.
