I was coming up kala kill at 80's in 5th gear and went back to third as it lost too much speed and then the motor exploded... gearbox locked at 80 and threw me off the road and allmost into a pole. VERY NAROWLY MISSED IT.. had a HUGE flamball come out the sides and the front of the car as the oil sprayed all over the drivetrain, control arms and engine bay and it ignited. It went out after a couple of minutes lucky... I think maybe because I put the thermos on. I havnt had a really good look at where the damage is but there is alot of metal over the road... seems like the blocks got a piston hangin off it.

dunno wat to do.. Mel rekns flog it off REALY cheap or I think put a stock motor back in it but thing is the wiring is hooked up to the 20v and its just ben converted from the old motor so I dont know if the wiring will still be in tact as well.. the electrician did a ratsnest job.

put a real 2.0l in it, buy my SX and drop in the 3SGE lol

'thrashed' does not mean you need to replace damaged bumpers, it just means your a **** driver.

is it worth putting a eng in it? or see what you can get for it damaged.

i always laugh when you see something like a gemini advertised ..... for sale , new head, receipts for $880 .... sell $1000. they should have sold it off for 500 with a rooted head & been in front , rather than spending the money on it, then selling it to be 100 in front!. - not a smart way to go !

just cos i drive fast doesnt mean i thrash it... dring fast at low revs is a bit better than revn the tits off it at 90ks.. rev wise I dont thrash it...
