While the worlds gone to shit who else has done some silly shit with money. I had a few too many drinks last night and ended up making my first purchase off Grays online. Now I just have to organise to have it picked up and shipped over here.

I'm kinda happy the initial lock-downs kicked in and stopped my from getting R class so I don't have a HD Low Rider S in the carport..... Doing surprisingly well just saving my money for the first time in my life.

scooter is quicker and more comfortable with heated seat/grips and connected tft display...not keen to row gears in a less comfortable riding position over a 80km round trip as im too old/heavy. its actually easier to ride more aggressively than the 636 Ninja was

I'm trying to not blow this one up, a set of heads and a small cam to get a few more bald eagles will hopefully be enough. I'm sure a few of the 275 American seagulls it came with 25 years ago have lost some feathers, so it's probably slower than the Mini

Unfortunately this is a Gen II LT1 and TSP don't do anything for it. LS1 didn't get fitted until the 98 catfish. LT1 is a little harder to find parts for, it's not quite SBC and not at all LS but I like this model better

Thurustmaster GT RS
I like the Camaro, it is endearingly ugly.
No car stuff for me suprisingly, mostly PC stuff.
35" widescreen, keyboard, mouse, headset, video card.

And a Nvidia Shield Pro, which is an awesome media box and does really good emulation of consoles up to PS2.
Just stick ROMs on a USB stick, connect a PS4 or switch controller, download an app and away you go.

I've spent way too much money being a muppet but got the home office setup seeing I'm stuck in Melbourne for a bit longer (travel exemption got rejected, just want to get back to WA really til this shit blows over...)
U4919DW Dell screen + 9500H laptop (old one is 8 years old now... dying...) + speeding ticket (no Covid questions... Vic is weird, luckily didn't lose the license by 2kms seeing they're true nannies here) + Lego + Last of Us II CE for PS4. I think that's it now til this shit is over.

Longish story to what i purchased...
I did a quick trip up to Tom Price in my Colorado a few weeks back and took out a roo at 100kph, 20km's north of meeka. Fucked front bar, grill, rhs headlight, guard, intercooler, aircon condensor etc.
Luckily still made it to TP & back to perth again
Put in insurance claim for repair, but picked up a 2nd hand/newish front grill from bunbury for it.
Instead of replacing with factory bar, I end up with a full bull bar & since intercooler was fucked, i'm putting a bigger intercooler and piping in.

Basically just end up paying the difference from stock parts & get upgrades.
Eventually might do turbo and injectors for it.

All tho 2020 has been a strange year yet people are making some mad purchases, here is what I’ve been doing pre 2020 and during covid.
At times we all love to think outside the box and love doing certain things. With me I run a mechanic shop and also have my petrol fuel injector business on the side. All this started after I’ve quit working at the mines as I looked for more time with the family. I always wanted to improve on the injector business especially the fundamentals on injectors optimum operation targeting performance injectors primarily. This involves wearing your thinking cap and countless days/nights spent thinking what is the best way to tackle something out of the ordinary so here’s my little story which some of you might register right away and some may have a few questions.
After starting my fuel injector business on the side and using the off the shelf Asnu test bench I‘ve come to the conclusion that the 130ml test tubes just don’t cut it for anything over 1000cc and more volume is needed. So I‘ve been thinking for months on building something rather unique running a Link ecu and after factoring all the costs and hitting a few brick walls on sourcing everything locally, individually from cnc bespoke designs etc. It was going to cost a crazy amount anyways so I said lets go all out and do it right for once and all. I said to my self “you live once so let’s do this” I’ve decided to approach Mario from TTRC over in Dubai where everything will be done in-house without getting any third parties involved. His team of engineers are next level propeller heads, a experience I’ll never forget. Now we’ve been working back and forth for many months now but we’ve come up with the most sophisticated petrol injector flow test bench you’ll ever see which is primarily targeting the performance side of injectors.
Some of the main key features it’ll have
-temperature controlled test fluid
-25L test fluid tank with billet fluid level sensor, temp sensor
-crazy bespoke fuel pump set up rated at 3000hp+ running up to 30v (ttrc have been making 2500awhp for the r35 gtrs with these pump set ups)
-ability to give accurate injector dead-times for the tuners
-sentronics formula 1 flow test meters (this is also a unique set up where I can test injectors from 500cc up to 8000cc +. Fully calibrated with the test fluid I’ll be using. Note: flow sensors are cost of a new corolla today
-valves with the full open option for continuous flow test of high performance injectors where test tubes are irrelevant and flow meters will do flow measurements
-motec m130 ecu with full custom designed software (crazy amounts of hours on this alone)
-custom touch screen panel
-custom screen monitor which you can move around anywhere you want
-lots and lots of billet parts
-full custom carbon fibre enclosure
Reason I’ve gone with something so unique/crazy is so I can give the most accurate test results for performance fuel injectors for all the performance workshops. When I start to buy in bulk performance injectors I’ll be able to sell them as flow matched sets of 4,6 and 8. Calculating injector deadtimes which are so critical and being able to run a Bosch 2000cc injector for a full minute vs couple seconds via any off the shelf fuel injector test bench.
I’m all about customer satisfaction and to be able to offer something that is unheard of is rather rewarding.
Here is a video link of the frame starting to take shape

Definitely cant compete with this pages purchases lol.
Returning from S.A means 2 weeks in self isolation. Never a better time to make the switch from controlled to wheel setup for GT Sport and ACC,
Fanatec CSL Elite with Load cells, cheapest 40" LED TV you can get, a Recaro sportster from the Camaro build and a frame made out of box tube from Bunnings. Should keep me interested/distracted from working on the camaro for the next two weeks and beyond.
Left leg is getting a workout from the load cell brake pedal that's for damn sure.

no real plans, they are a pretty nice car with the ls7 in it anyway.
ive tuned a friends with a supercharger/e85 combo that makes 660whp, that is pretty quick despite the long gearing in them. (2.73 gears with the manual)
If i do anything with it, it will require a new bonnet so i could drop the engine/blower combo that's in my ve ute. i've kept the power delivery down in that to keep the auto alive & it's making in the low 800's.
that engine in the corvette would make it an easy 300kph car for racewars too. but yeah not really keen to do much to it straight away. it'll go straight on the dyno for tuning though...
LS7, nice, I just bought a LS3 Caprice - complete with what I'm sure is a mild case of cold running Piston slap FFS

Car got in freo sunday night, still waiting on email for pickup but i fly out for work thursday morning so, looks like the old man gets to drive it first.
as for the motor combo in my ve ute. well low 800's was a lie. had a play on the dyno with it last break and went 901whp. far too much power for a 1400kg car.

Continuing on from the last post to some updates on the new injector test rig.
It’s operational now and the formula 1 flow meters are reading larger cc injectors for breakfast haha.
It’s nearing completion with lots of additional features being added now and one of the coolest additions is knock sensors to calculate injector deadtimes. Nothing more accurate than having the knock sensors pick up on injectors opening and closing operating at 1000hz.
All of you guys with high hp cars and high performance injectors will love the service from this rig with crazy accuracy
never seen before.
Here is the video of a little bit of testing that’s taken place recently
