R32 Air con/fan vents

Hey doodz,
Just wondering if anyone has come across this problem or knows who would have an idea of fixing it,
basically when my car landed (r32 gtr) early this year the aircon etc was perfect in functioning, however recently the vent 'mode' is stuck in Demister, it wont budge from the front window and i cant hear the motor try to move it either.

Ive had the dash right apart looking for something not plugged in or something and checked all fuses etc and i give up!

Any suggestions appreciated... cheers

its the motors on the unit that switchs the dimister/dash vents between each outher
you wont hear them moving because they would be stuffed

know of anyone striping a half cut? they usualy come in the cut still

Yeah most 89 shtrs have the same prob.
Mine gets stuck on hot most of the time and i know of others that does aswell.
You can do a test to see what is wrong with it.
With the ign off hold down the OFF button and a code should flash a number like 26, or 27
You need to find out what that code is to tell you what the problem is.
I think thats how you do it.

Cheers for the replies, Yeah ive done the diagnostic test and it came up with:
31 --> 32 --> 34 --> 35 --> 36
Looking at the GTR service manual it says that above code means that a connecter is unplugged, but god damn i swear ive checked everything. So really its either a dead vent mode solenoid or somehow a disconnected plug somewhere..

same problem with mine, but mine seems to work sometimes, and other it dont. What I do to get it to work is when its set on demister, change it to point on the face (vents). Nothing happens, but then I switch the car off completely, then when I switch it back on again, it decides to change. Prick of thing.
