Track Action is proud to announce that social drifting is coming to Barbagallo raceway!
https://www.trackaction.com.au/saturday-night-drift
Saturday Night Drift is designed to let people get their cars onto the track to enjoy, learn and improve in drifting in a friendly, social environment. The aim of the event is to show people that anyone can have a go at drifting and help grow the community.
There will be 3 area set up per night:
1. Main track course
2. Short course (in the middle area)
3. Wet Skid pan
Drivers can take passengers on any of the courses (1 passenger per car) and can transit between circuits at their leisure (less time waiting, more time drifting!)
Had your fun on the main circuit and want to just have some fun practising figure 8s and circlework? Just jump in the transit lane and head around to the skid pan!
Drivers and passengers will need:
- A Racers Clubman license ($20 per event or $65 annually, can be purchased on the night or online at www.racers.world)
- A Helmet
- Shorts, a shirt and enclosed footwear as a minimum.
Vehicles will need to meet the RACERS category 2 requirements which can be found on page 13 of the RACERS manual here:
https://racers.world/cms/cognito/document/download/file/1
Please note that roll cages are not a requirement on street drift cars as per the above document which means getting your street car onto the track to drift is now super easy!
Our first event is 8 February 2020 and you can register online here:
