I'm after an insurance company, insurance broker or whomever that will insure a shed.
I am able to insure the vehicle however I require all the other contents to be insured.
Other issue is it is on another property not owned by me but is part of the family.
Does anyone know who will do this?

Do you have a residence on the property? Or just the shed.
I made a few calls and no one wanted to touch our shed while we were building, which was a pain as we did get broken into.
I've heard elders will do it, they were expensive - double the closest price - when I enquired about home and contents insurance.

Can only insure the car, not the shed.

Residence on the property and that seems to be the issue, even if it's family.

As its not your property... hence the issue
My shed and all its contents are insured as part of my house + contents insurance with Shannons
Can the family member not insure it and you pay the premium ?

Shannon's are the only ones that I have found that will insure the shed and contents.
Issue with Shannon's is that you must be a car 'enthusiast' to insure with them.
I'm waiting on to hear how that goes but highly doubt they will be able to.

That's exactly our arrangement however the problem is trying to find an insurance company....

When I was making about having all my tools and garage contents insured with new shed being built HBF would do it but you had to have their premium product. Couldn't go base for the house plus addition of shed contents. I'll just run the gauntlet uninsured.
