Now I was under the impression that to drive website traffic social medias’ is a great tool for this as a platform such as FB cannot make income on its own (yes some other socials can in in-direct ways).
So you get followers , likes and post rehost, repost content on facebook page with the express intent of driving web traffic to your site where you can get paid clicks to hosted ads and other content etc…
So what happens when your website is shit, failing or getting shitty redirects… well all that effort in posting to your minions aint for naught, cause they are going to visit get shittitis’ and piss right off….
So don’t be a shit pingpingpingping of a web admin (or even better get proper admins to manage your site) and spend as much time on your real website as what you do posting your shit meme’s on your FB to your minions… you might actually make web.wingcommander yet………
Unless of course you actually need a subscription yourself to PC Authority …

Unable to read your post due to re-directs. Can you post to Facebook?

Sorry that you're unhappy with your free forum that I pay for, I will attempt to be less shit of a web forum admin. In case you were wondering, this forum costs more than it generates.
We are attempting to have the issue fixed and should do shortly, however it's proving to be a bitch of a job.
Alternatively, if you feel like engaging and paying for a professional web admin, please let me know and all invoices can be redirected to you.

Have contact's that run and host webs sites/forums etc. Explained the issue and they didn't seem to see it a hard fix and common issue.
If you need a hand im sure they will do me a favour and potentially fix for free if not super cheap for you.

I’m genuinely more amazed that someone still uses a forum to notice the redirects

This is my understanding of it, but I am sure Paul is onto it.
The offer is still there and I don't want anything for it.

The redirect only occurs within HTML and post pages so it’ll be in the template files. If you have VBSEO plugin installed and enabled, remove it.
Go to Styles & Templates > Search in Templates and search for any of the words from the redirect string. Searching for refresh or syriamsa would be a good start.
Remove the entire string from the template.
Then go to Maintenance > Diagnostics and look for the Suspect File Versions Test. Hit submit and it will give you a list of files that have changed since the original vBulletin download. Obviously I edited a lot of files back in the day during server upgrades, so don't go mass deleting anything that isn't obviously related to the issue. If you aren't sure, screenshot and send them to me and I'll have a look. Alternatively, get someone with linux experience to SSH into the server and search for the string.
Then follow this page to prevent a Syrian script kiddie from doing it again:

Just FYI - this doesn't work.
Was the first thing we tried.
Have added you to the admin list if you want to have a look, but the above is a dead end.

If the hack is not specifically in the vbulletin code, there is also the possibility of an external script updating the sql direct.
Anything suss in the database users list? Suss connections?
I've seen something like this on a NAS before where the hack kept propogating after cleaning up.

I deleted my Facebook acct in early 2017 after taking stock of the vapid nature of what people post.
I completely disregard that standard here (“stuff I’ve bought” threads are great) as I encourage people spending on stupid shit I love, like cars.
And that’s has always been done to excess on AL. The culture is brutal before polite, which is entertaining.
Is there more content on FB than on here now?
I don’t have an acct to check.
Fuck Facebook.
Appears to be back as brettberk now? Takes substantially longer to transition though.
