Before I go and book a motel,

I had the feeling someone had accom in Albany.

Needed first weekend of December.

Dog rock motel in Albany is similar to something like the collie ridge motel. Fairly basic, but walking distance to a lot of amenities. Stayed there 2 years ago and was convenient as I didn't have transport. Not sure if much has changed. I think there is a fairly nice restaurant attached to the motel too but its pricey. Not sure how it compares to other available motels in Albany though in terms of price/comfort.

Lime 303 is the restaurant you're thinking of near Dog Rock Motel.

I'm currently down here for work and have been for about a month. Staying at Pelicans Albany, $130 per night for an economy apartment, serviced weekly. WiFi is temperamental, the apartment is a thin walled 40 year old building tarted up with a lick of paint 10 years ago but it works. RATS Bar, Hybla Tavern, The Bay Merchants and Three Anchors are all short stroll away.

They have nicer, more expensive units without washing machines etc that I would target if coming for a holiday.

Don’t the Hoopers own the Dogrock?
