Had a little search but couldn't find anything. Anyways as you guessed it got a speeding fine today. Fuck all in the 0-9kms range. My name is miss spelt and my address is also miss spelt. Is it worth contesting it? Anyone had any luck before ?

Name and address can't be too bad if you received the fine hahaha

I heard OJ Simpson actually got off because they spelt his name wrong on the court documents!
Take it to Court and contest it - if the details are incorrect then technically it may be thrown out.
However is the cost of the fine worth your time and energy for something that will at the end of the day have no bearing on your day to day life, licence or any real care.
Also if it isn't thrown out you'll cop costs on top of that... If you fucked up and were speeding I'd just pay it and move on with life....

Not worth contesting - that's why they make the fines minimal. If the magistrate sides with the police then you'll have a speeding conviction, not an infringement. Convictions come up on police checks (working with children, etc).
