Looking for hookups/recommendations for Office chair as mine's due to be binned. Main use is PC gaming, have heard actual gaming chairs aren't that great and a good office chair is better?

make sure you go and try some (go have a sit somewhere if you can) as like car bucket seats some are def more comfy than others. was in PLE in bentley the other day and they have one of those car seat type office chairs that was quite comfo,,,,,

I really want to get a set of Recaro's out of a crashed car and convert them to an office chair. Would be ideal.

find one of these, secondhand or someone hook up. spend a lot of time in a chair at work and theres no issue doing 12hrs in one

There is a thread on this from a few year ago.

A few people recommended 'Chairtech' and that's where I ended up getting mine.
Custom made to suit you and very very comfy!! Highly recommended.

Mine is a couple of years old and think it was around $500 for something mid range.

They are 'custom' in that you can pick and choose base, arms, seat, colours etc.

Herman Miller with Christopher Reeve attachment about 1800 depending on what lumber support options you go for. Copies around for about $400, would like to sit in one of them to see how they compare.

Main thing I like about it is the ability to recline takes no effort and there are heaps of different settings for what it will recline too. Unlike cheap chairs which take effort to recline, don't go all the way back and you can't lock them in reclined.

+1 these are used 24/7 at our work and are treated like shit with very few issues. almost 6 years here and the ones at Rio would be close to 10
